Canada is far more better than London in low cost of school fees, accomodation, and staying back after your program. But in canada, most Msc courses are 2yrs where as in london, it is 1yr, or some 18 months. In the aspect of your course, i dont really know much but i think it depends on the school. But i think i will stil prefer canada because of the avialability of job after the program.

the CDHC only want to see that u have physical funds that wil cover ur first year. They know that most student wil work to support their expenses for the second. If u have a scholarship, that wil help reduce the amount of money needed. Just try show that you have enough funds to cover ur face year. In my case, i had a scholarship of 15,000 dollars from the school, so at the embassy,i showed them the scholarship letter and a bank statement of 800,000 naira balance.

am doing thesis in my masters and that means it is going to be more of research. Some school gives scholarship to student who want to come and do research in their masters since the research wil benefit the school. But the point is that you must first get a supervisor who has interest in ur research area, must have scored a good CGPA in ur school( in my case, i had 3.9), your last two semister grade in your transcript must be impressive. By so doing, the supervisor can talk to the school to assist you in funding. Note that the supervisor might want want to se a soft copy of what you have done so far in that area. The good thing about it is that you wil be paid while schooling.
