Help House my Application status still reads 'Application under review' for more than a week. Pls can sum 1 tell me what is wrong.

@JOECHEM, I applied for this same shell recruitment May 5th 2009 and my application status was "under review" till end of March 2010 before I was sent a mail to re-apply in 6 months time though so many people were disqalified several times in-between this period.
I was also informed to sent my updated CV to two staff of Shell at the Recruitment Office.

House, pls stop quarrreling. Actually, i;m a contract staff with Shell Petrol Dev. Co. Nig. Ltd (SPDC), I.A., Port Harcourt. According to one of my pals tat work in their HR Department, he said the advert has ended since on the 31st of March, 2010. But from the look of tins, they might extend the date bcos they've been receiving series of calls from ppl tat d info was not published on national dailies or they didn't hear abt it. Which they never extended, since i have been monitoring the site for sometime now.

However, also take note that this is not SITPpublication. it is specifically a local opportunity for Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta State Graduates in Engineering field with a minimum of 2.2, must have graduated 2005-2009 upon completion of NYSC.

Also they have already started shortlisted and only shortlisted applicants will be e-mail for further interview/aptitude test. So for those of u that have been shortlisted, dot 4get 2 check ur mail or keep ur phone on.
