The Test is simple. Practice Mechanical and Electrical Reasoning questions. Also simple mathematics too. U hav 2 b very fast.

My fellow hopefuls keeping to ourselves will not help matters. In as much as this position also requires a high degree of independence, team spirit and friendiliness is very essential bcos it adds up to the SLB way of life!
OK let's start this way. Uhhh... How will the interviews look? What are the likely questions?....

Max, the interview i guess depends on what position u'v been called for- field engineer, field specialist or maintenance techinician?
I can tell u what it is like for a field engineer position, the interview lasts from morning till close of work, their main aim is to try & break u, so u need to be able to think on ur feet. The questions will be technical, they may ask u to construct a tower out of paper or stn like that but the key thing is they want to see ur mind work. u may b asked to assemble a mechanical tool from it's engineering drawing. It is key that u should not b timid neither should u b pushy, cos u'l b put in groups to see how u work as a teamplayer & a leader. you will be given a scenario in which to test ur logical skill eg if ur plane crashes in the dersert, what would save from the plane.
But then again this is for the field engineers. i'm not sure if it helps.
