Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@ Vin20, Let me say that the issue of PIB cannot be concluded this year. Even when the harmonised is presented to the national assembly, if u are familiar with their mode of operations, u will agree with me that they will have to present the bill for first reading, do corrections and then present for second reading for final corrections. So, forget about our recruitment waiting for the passage of the PIB.
One thing i know is that, when it is time for us to be called, they will surely do so. And from the towers, the time is closer than ever before.
Cheers brothers/sisters in same struggle.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
the most painful fact about this nnpc recruitment nonsense is that by now, the philips consulting that conducted the examination for us as regards this recruitment would have been paid in full. also the so called big pple in nnpc that did the oral interview for us would have collected their own entitlement too. whereas we that spent our money in travelling to all various exam centres and we that also took the risk in travelling from various nooks and cranies of this country to the nnpc towers in abj where we paid heavily for accomodation and feeding have not even received a single dime. this is cheating of the highest order. if they must keep posponing our letter, they must pay us our tp allowance now. and moreover our letter must be released now b4 it is too late.

@vin20 i beg u should just listen 2what civilguru just told u & stop bogging us wit ur pib theory. And if i may add more, even after the second reading, the bill will have to be referred to the appropriate committe to go through the committe stage of the legislative process which is even the most time-consuming in the entire process. Then after the bill has been through the committee stage, it will still have to be brought back to the floor for the third time for the third and final reading. If it them passes through the rigorous scrutiny of the third and final stage, it will then be passed into law and then sent to the president for his assent. So there is every likelihood that the bill is not going to be ready this year no matter how speedy they might push for it. So the earlier you stopped bogging us with this your PIB theory, the better for all of us. Some of us here do understand the legislative process and its nothing close to what you have always been insinuating from your mind all this while with your PIB crap. And mind you that PIB is not meant to create more jobs at the NNPC but in the private sector of the Oil And Gas Industry. Thanks.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
i find this very funny, seriously.
the 2010 NNPC recruitment exercise, HAD been fully PAID for before the commencement of the recruitment.[
every contractor attached to this project, had been mobilized, up to the caterer for the training. do you understand my annoyance now.abeg, Dizianne and GEJ should leave Nigeria alone.QUOTE=oluwasanmisamuel;608073]the most painful fact about this nnpc recruitment nonsense is that by now, the philips consulting that conducted the examination for us as regards this recruitment would have been paid in full. also the so called big pple in nnpc that did the oral interview for us would have collected their own entitlement too. whereas we that spent our money in travelling to all various exam centres and we that also took the risk in travelling from various nooks and cranies of this country to the nnpc towers in abj where we paid heavily for accomodation and feeding have not even received a single dime. this is cheating of the highest order. if they must keep posponing our letter, they must pay us our tp allowance now. and moreover our letter must be released now b4 it is too late.[/QUOTE]

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Civilguru, i know that bill passage is not all that easy and normally take time to be passed, but nevertheless, some bill in this country have been passed in less than two weeks, infact pib will not take more than 6weeks or before there proceed on their anually recess this year it will be passed into law, haven said that GEJ can even go ahead to implement the programmes embeded into pib as soon as it is ready, pending the passage into law, afterall the recommendation number 17th of the house on fuel subsidy has given GEJ go ahead to key start the reform inline with the programmes in the pib.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@vin 20..its either you are not a nigerian or you dont come from this world.
the federal character commission is the biggest toothless bulldog ever in nigeria.[
heads of mdas just recruit and send the list to them, sometimes, years after.
ordinary CBN, custom, police,NDIC recruit without recourse to FCC, is it NNPC, that they will now fight?
maybe you dont know, the NNPC IS NIGERIAS MILK COW.a meeting with the HMPR can change your life for ever.
they cant have a quarrel. i told you and i mean it,this recruitment is deadQ

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
the first pib that was presented was thrown out of the senate, before the commencement of the recruitment.
if the PIB was quitessential to the recruitment, and the HMPR is not an idiot, should it take them another 2 years to re-present it.[
why dont you get this.madam used the process to get approvals for the budget twice now. traditionally, NNPC recruits every 2 years, another exercise is on its way.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Jesus army, the law of land provides that if u advertise any recruitment in nigeria before u conclude the process, u must go to federal character commmission and collect certificate of compliance from the commission. U can only avoid the federal charater commission by not advertise or using what we porpular call replacement.

JA am saying going to the commission means that it followed to due process, but just to fulfil the law of the land.

I Don't think this is Jesus Army speaking

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@ osezzua, who do u tink is speaking?jesus soldeir? Or henry okah? Even if he doesnt say that it is over, the events hapenin shuld even discourage someone.i depend so much on this recruitment cos i am not workin, but we must face the fact and move on.it is pathetic.let us keep beging God for our daily bread, bcos this govt does not have provisions for anybody unless you can steal.
-
Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@osezzua,why? its true i had faith in this process, infact i galvanised faith.
but recently, since this year,i noticed abnormality in the process.i began to see clearly.[
we hold meetings once a month with our boss, and because about 6 of us have interest in the process, its always been an issue.
the old man said it long ago,but we didnt believe him.
the probe is planned, all arrangee.thats just what happenned last year.
they will bring a new board, and trust nigerians to want to do a new thing.guys, its all over.......trust me on this one

yes @kyjosefa,i concur.no point adding salts to the wounds already caused in our hearts.
i fink,we shud start looking beyond d shores of dis corruption-stricken country.

I agree with d last poster. Instead of fighting among ourselves, let's close d thread. Why must som1 say a process is dead and he still post here? If it is dead just leave. Abi no be so?

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
For a process That have lingered this long, one Could only but easily say it is cancelled. Even if NNPC officially comes out n say they were closing the process, i won't believe their report, i'd rather believe God's report Concerning me.
He promised to give me Options so i Could make a choice from n NNPC is one of those options he has given me.
I speak life to d recruitment process n every hand That has played a role That resulted to this mess, i cause to withdraw n if they insist, i degree such hands to wither n die without mercy in The Name of Jesus.
I didn't beg to be called for test, when i was called for test, i took d risk of travelling all d way down from Taraba state to Benin city, same thing i did from Taraba to Abuja for d interview. Why should i be made to labor in vain, why should i labor n another man reap d fruits, why?
God who was with me in my labor will surely see me thru.
Fellow hopefuls, no shaking, letters shall be released, just be calm n watch things unravel for our favours.

To think that someone like me spent 2k pounds + to attend the test and interview in Benin & Abuja respectively, hoping that NNPC will give me a soft landing when I relocate back to Nigeria after many years in the UK and you are considering looking beyond the shores of Nigeria?? The truth is that life is not easier anywhere my brother, we can only hope and keep praying that God opens our own doors of breakthrough anywhere we find ourselves. Don't give up brethren, it's going to be a blue weekend for many of us I know, but the truth is, we all saw this coming but found it difficult to face the reality.
Cheers up guys and see the bright side of things!!

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@angel4life...maybe you havent noticed.i have long left.several brethen who have spoken with me, and seen the handwriting on the wall, have also left.i said this thing in august 2011, that NNPC would not complete the process till 2012. in jan 2012, i said it was in the best interest of NNPC to call the brethen to commence training. in feb, the executive director corporate services, who has been refused retirement, until after the probe report, distanced himself from a list that was sent to him to endorse...i told the house then that if the letters did not come that month, it would never come. thereafter, the probe started.....NNPC has never been probed and found guiltless. they always change the board and bring new crooks.i finally said then that the wait was over, the recruitment was dead.a probe meant a hold on every thing until there after. a new board, a new recryuitment.that has been the style.......mind you, no matter how much these bastards have looted this nation, they would be paid their entitlements in full.none of their children or childrens children will need to write an application letter for work......men,im angry today

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
It is not to despair. We cant be agry forever. This is where we found ourselves- our collective destiny. We shall triumph. Its all going to turn out for our good. Let us resolve to refuse to be like our leaders. In our individual capacitywe have tasted it,we can change this country if we wish.

Peace b unto dis house.
Remembered hw i was bombarded by house members wen i said we shld forget abt dis nnpc stuff. Dats by-d-way.
D despatch of our letas is nt based on d premises of d passage of pib bill in2 law.
D only hinderance was d issuance of Certificate of Compliance by d FCC 2 NNPC. It was being speculated dat d certificate wld b issued btwn d 1st or 2nd wk of May.
Rumour also has it dat virtually all who attended d interview would b cald.
Do hv a wonderful wkend.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
here we are at the final juncture, guys are relaxing, hope is diming, pple's mind are weary but alas there might be a suprise comming around the corner. whatever anyone says here from the begining has always been his/her own opinion, this is now very much clear with pple's post today. NNPC is an establishment dat has lost focus. we hopefuls can now say more about nnpc more than any ordinary nigerian. we can never 4get nnpc dat only raised up are spirit without any gud plans for us right from the onset. NNPC i dislike u Bitterly.
