The process cannot be cancelled. We shall request information under FOI act if they try to pull that stunt. I rathere choose to believe that the process is nearing completion hopefully before the minister's speech on tuesday or immediately after.

this recruitment is even worse dan dat of 2008. Atleast den we'r paid 10k cash on d day of d interview as TP. Exactly 1 yr after d advert rumour had it dat d excercise had been cancelled n everyone looked away.

funny enough i ve read a lot abt pib. It didnt talk abt nnpc stop existng only dat it will run like a private company dat ll depend less on govt and be more transparent. most of its subsidiaries will still remain although agencies like dpr ll change names and hv functions modified. The text of d pib andlots of debates on it are available online. Let avail ourselves opportunity to read. If the recruitment ll be canceld it cant be becos of pib. Patnering is not the same as outright sale.

Considering the time you spend on this thread & DPR's day and even in the mid-nights, it's easy for one to conclude that most members of these threads put their time to better use than you their adviser. How long will it take you to understand that many members on these threads are gainfully employed home and abroad and some even earn more than NNPC can pay them presently?? However it is important we all respect each other and maintain civility in our communication. The truth is NO ONE is compelled to log on to this thread neither has anyone been commissioned to come to chase others out of the thread. I would appeal that as many who find this thread objectionable or irrelevant to PLEASE stop visiting it.
Friends, I would recommend also that you all take time to read for ourselves the PIB initial draft to better understand its implication for NNPC and the larger industry, it would help us separate reality from fiction which some are peddling here. In any case it is expected of anyone who truly desires to understand the post PIB Oil & Gas industry.
