Pessimistic people mostly end up as rebellious, rebellious to their struggle, to their strength or may be to God as well. Fellow Hopeful, let us continue to be patient, optimistic and believe in the "cost". We shall get it "INSHALLAH" ... by God grace.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
This 2010/2011 NNPC recruitment must be completed either NNPC like it or not. Otherwise, we shall challenge this case in a lawful way bcos Nigeria belongs to all of us, for how long we will be deprived of our rights.Beliv me, we shall change this if nothing happens, what kind of rubbish is that? All the best.

in 2nd kings 6: v 25 to 2nd kings 7 v 1 to 2. The most interesting part of this bible is the verse 2. Then Elisha said, hear the word of the Lord; thus saith the Lord, tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of samaria. Some people doubted the man of God even in his presence. So, Elisha said they will see it with their own eyes but will not eat out of it. A miracle is imminent, beleive in the power of God. But I tell u some pple will see and hear of it but will miss that blessing. Those that can mock should continue and even do more. There will be shouts of joy in some homes soonest while some homes will be grieved. I warn u becareful of what u say thus said the Lord of host. Shallom.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
News as simple as abcd..123 must be accepted whether u people like it or not.
Here comes the news:
Any Soul that depend on NNPC as the only sole place to get employed may be dissapointed henceforth.. But any soul that Trust on the lord God of Abcd123 and believe on itself for any good job irrespective of the Organisatn shall ever live to remember this day and will go on to rejoice.
Some of you have limit thyself to only one option.. And all doors seems close because thy spirit is cage physically/Spiriually... Therefore brethren, i come under the guidance of common sense to bring you the good news of the rich, the happy and the employd, to tell you that it may not be NNPC But another option!
This is not a prayer nor wish... But Common sense.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
One thing i know is that God is interested in this recruitment for some of us to have had several dreams confirming the process. Don't let your heart be troubled just keep confessing the positive. I for one has had three dreams concerning this process that were so real. infact it was after the first dream in which i saw rams and lambs blocking the way for us to do our accreditation as staff that this whole call for probe started. that was during the subsidy strike. i have also had two dreams confirming that my name is on the list. i keep saying it. instead of being confrontation with men (that is minister's press briefing) let us be on our knees to conquer. The heart of kings is in God's hands and He turns it as He wills.
on another note please allow ABCD123 catch his fun. two wrongs cant make a right. Also we need to be united to fight the battle the youths as this nation are facing. So many forces are against us in this nation and the devil wants to use that opportunity to lure us to so many vices. The Lord is our strength.

@ All, I was specifically surprised at what Jesus Army (especially) posted on this forum recently. He's my friend, and a good one at that, but I was totally incongrous with his recent posts because they lack the basic truths in them. Am able to decipher his recent posts as someone who rushes into this site to get other people's opinions only to cleverly concatenate to produce his own hybrid information, which he claims is exotic! The turbulence in NNPC is not sufficient to cancel this recruitment. Unless u're telling me that NNPC is winding up. What might happen is that the number of intakes will shrink and a little tighter. But to cancel TWO RECRUITMENTS IN A ROLL, BAAAAABOOOOO.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
"Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up" (Luke 18:1).
Giving up is admitting failure and defeat.
Pray until what you pray for has been accomplished or until you have complete assurance in your heart that it will be.
A word for us all.
Have a lovely week ahead.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
This is the news in detail...
THE House of Representatives ad-hoc committee’s report on the fuel subsidy regime may soon claim its first casualties.
Reason: Plans are under way by the Federal Government to send on compulsory retirement several top executives of some agencies in the oil sector over their indictment in the report.
The Guardian learnt that officials of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) and the Petroleum Product Pricing and Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) could be affected in the planned shake-up.
Sources at the Ministry of Pe- troleum Resources confirmed this to The Guardian yesterday, stressing that Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Dieziani Alison-Madueke, ordered the overhaul of management personnel in the agencies as a direct fall-out of the subsidy report.
In the meantime, the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI) audit reports of 2004, 2005 and 2008 chronicled the systemic rot in the oil sector but most of the recommendations in the reports on how to halt the monumental corruption in the sector are still gathering dust on the shelves.
In a statement in Abuja yesterday, its Director of Communication, Ogbonnaya Oji, said the findings of the ad-hoc Farouk Lawan-led panel did not come to NEITI as a surprise as most of the preliminary observations in the House committee’s reports have been captured in various audit reports of the agency.
The Guardian learnt that a former executive secretary of the PPPRA, whose name was not disclosed, had been picked to emerge as the next chairman of the PPPRA Governing Board.
There had been pressure from Labour unions to constitute a new Governing Board for the PPPRA.
The PPPRA Board comprises 26 institutions and stakeholders, while the President appoints the body’s chairman. Other members are representatives of the 26 institutions comprising Labour, government, Organised Private Sector (OPS), marketers and regulators. The board existence is not tenured but determined at the prerogative of the President. .
Sources said the Presidency was worried over the image of the sector in the light of the recent House report that indicted at least three of the former executive secretaries and several management and senior members of staff of the agency.
The minister, it was learnt, had given approval for the re-deployment of three Assistant General Managers (AGMs) and the immediate retirement of GM (Operations) in the PPPRA.
It was also gathered that at least seven management staff of the PPPRA would be asked to voluntarily retire, as some of them had spent the maximum eight years in positions equivalent to that of directors.
In November 2011, the ministry ordered the re-deployment of top management staff of the agencies and vowed to continue the process.
There were indications that the Group Managing Director (GMD), NNPC who was due for retirement since December 2011, would be allowed to retire in June 2012.
In another move by the minister who is also struggling to keep her job, the current Executive Secretary, PPPRA, Mr. Reginald Stanley, could be named the next GMD of the NNPC to take over from Mr. Austen Oniwon.
Sources said lobby team might have been raised by the minister to help push Stanley’s candidacy. A source in the NNPC said if that worked out, the current Executive Secretary, PPPRA, might face stiff opposition from the national body of the union who believed he is anti-union.
According to the sources, the AGMs pencilled for re-deployment are Saka Salman (Admin), A.O. Soloye (HR), V.Z. Shidok (Operations), S.O. Agbaje (Operations) and GM (Operations), Mr. Wole Adamolekun.
Oji explained: “For NEITI, the preliminary findings of the ad-hoc committee was not surprising given the prevailing poor institutional linkages, infrastructural weakness, governance and process lapses as well as some kind of impunity which appear to frustrate all efforts at enthroning openness, transparency and good business ethics in the oil and gas industry over the years.
“As Nigerians are aware, NEITI has conducted three different cycles of independent audits in the oil and gas industry (2004, 2005 and 2006/2008 respectively). Each of the cycle of industry audits issued a comprehensive report with findings and recommendations, which clearly identified and highlighted the problems within the sector, proposed solutions and ways to implement them. But implementation of these remedial issues in the NEITI audit reports over these years had remained one of the major challenges in spite of the efforts being made by NEITI under the inter-ministerial task team set up by the Federal Government for this purpose.
“From the reports of the Farouk Lawan-led House ad-hoc committee so far, it is not quite shocking for NEITI over the level of corruption and abuses in the oil and gas sector, even given the amount of funds being mentioned in the report that could not be accounted for. NEITI reports had made similar shocking revelations in the areas of under-payments and receipts, poor computation of financial flows, physical crude lifting and general concerns on management of the processes. But the reports got very little or no attention.”
NEITI aligned itself with the pronouncement by President Goodluck Jonathan through his Special Adviser on National Assembly Affairs, Senator Joy Emordi and the position of the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, that all those found culpable in the fuel subsidy scandal will be publicly prosecuted.
It said it was joining the media, civil society and all Nigerians to call for objective, open, free, fair, thorough and early conclusion of investigations and the necessary courage required to ensure full implementation of the findings and recommendations of the committees’ reports.

NNPC's GMD Engr. Austin Oniwon must complete this recruitment exercise he began otherwise if d new management comes, there may be scatterring as dey may want to bring their own people. I strongly bliv dat oniwon will ensure dat d list is released b4 he leaves for the advantage of his own candidates bcos this is last chance he has.

How stupid that sounds. Is NNPC is father's house? Bunch of morons running this country down. They all deserve to rot behind bars

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
I don't know why dis news is exciting me..could it be the much awaited answer to our patriotic prayers for a better Nigeria? Could it be the result of a renewed trust in God's promises that are forever settled?
...Could it be a re-energized conviction on the divine truth that "all things work together for good to them that love the Lord", is?......
Any way you see it brethren the truth is that we are closer than ever to the end...Let's be circumspect, faith filled, and focused on what we desire...God has done mightier things than this before-in my life....This shouldn't be a biggie for the one whose breath reveals the ocean's floor....
Have a blessed week ahead, good people

The Minister of Petroleum will be having her press briefing on Tuesday 8th May 2012. Those of you that stays in Abuja and have friends who are press men and women and who will be present in the briefing, you can please tell them whats happening with the recruitment so that they can ask her and who knows, that can put an end to this thread, either for the best or the worst.

She too has to resign and be interrogated. We don't really care

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Old wine in new kegs, old crooks giving way to new crooks, either reshuffled or revamped, corruption is the common denominator of all nigerian politician. without fear or favour it is logical to conclude that the imminent cabinet and board shake-up is the poisoned opium that would send the recruitment to an everlasting comatose and political cemetery. guys, prepare for a new recruitment, please note that there is no need for a prophetic overflow, the truth they say is bitter, one love.
-
Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Prof. Seun, by pre-empting prophetic utterances are you saying -from a christian standpoint- that this is beyond God?

Says who?? NNPC budget for 2012 has been passed into law and signed by Mr. President. All that needs to be done if a new Board and GMD comes in, is to implement the budget which includes calling the HOPEFULS that is if this present board does not call till they are removed. The present board, GMD, MPR etc will not go with the budget for the NNPC, the budget remains. No Shakes mano, God will overturn, overturn and overturn until he whose right it is, he will give.. We are witnessing a shaking of the oil and gas sector, He that has brought you this far will not abandon you now. Lets all rise against the spirit of WICKEDNESS in the Nations Oil and Gas Sector by praying against all of its form.
