Abuja people, are we ready? At least, the lagos zone had shown that every thing is possible. And that we own our destiny.
Of course the Abuja zone will make more impact if the come out for real. We already have a leader there.
let the coordination start, so that we hit them with our peaceful protest by 25th June, monday.
After which;
2). While the coordination and strategies for Abuja is going on, we write an article to be published either Tuesday or wednesday 26th or 27th June as a follow up
heat. Depending on the the outcome of Abuja's.
This article shall detail;
i) Nov/dec. 2010 advertorial NNPC/DPR recruitment (can't remember the date for DPR) to the last interview conducted. Even, that our transport
allowance has been embezzled, hence the total silent.
ii) that people are being employed outside the merit list already prepared by the board members (Even though we may not have enough prove, but we all
Know is happening. so, let us hit it on them)-this may make the board to speak in defence. Hence the total silent.
iii) we can also mention president Jona's politicking with Job creation hence the present happening in the NNPC/DPR under his watch.
iv) The FCC should also answer why the have been keeping quiet. the name of the Chairman should be mentioned.
v) concerned Nigerians call that the merit list ( best hands to do the needed job) with the board should be released unadulterated to end this corrupt
recruitment and put the best Nigerians at the best place in the right time.
3). OFFER OF APPOINTMENT LETTERS WILL FLY TO YOU ASWE ALL MADE IT.
Well, this is my own input. we can always make amends to go ahead.
With this type of English do you think you are worthy of the " merit list"? And who told you that you all made it?

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@4gkevin............... the race is still on
well pls permit me to say this: i opted to take a lead role doesn't mean am the richest hopeful alive!
i can boast of my God giving talents in areas of critical thinking and reasoning.....may be bcos i hv a Cert. in Strategic Mgt. or nt
..Pls note this: on no account shld we try to fight d FG. i cnt work.. i tink we shold opt to scheduling a meeting wit d MPR (Diezna)
this will giv her some feelings that we show respct to her office no matter wot wrng we tink is emanating from dia, atleast we wil get to know the real reason 4 d delay, hw r we sure dat dey r ny planning on releasing d letters tomoro or nxt?... after dis visit nd if an agreement is reached, if dey fail to mt dis agreement den we can react! for nw lets jst do d right tin! so lets channel our efforts on hw to secure a visit wit d MPR.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@muffeh......... u may be right, trust even trust any body is a better stand!!
this is y i prefer we visit MPR, hw are we sure dat NNPC does nt have an agent following every thing we do here?
if u chose to make a publication, u may be shocked dat same NNPC will nt allow such publication see d light, try to stage a protest firs, NNPC will truncate dat,
dnt 4get NNPC is as d FG. ......if we do d right tin or wish to do d right tin, we must realize dat a visit to d office of d MPR will mean dat we r even more sanitized, matured, educated, n coordinated dan NNPC n all its criminal minded wolfs! ...... guys lets show dat we r more matured and we r ready for a clean role in NNPC if finally we r employed. guys, dia r so so so many ways to kill a rat!

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Blah blah blah
Typical Nigerian setting. ALL TALK NO ACTION. U folks have been deliberating for close to a month and still no tangible progress.
I'm not trying to discourage u guys. Just saying what I've observed.
I think a few blocs shd take it upon themselves to do what needs to be done cos if u wait for everyone, nothing will ever get done.
Some of us don't bother to visit this thread any longer cos of the various epistles and motionless movements on show.
Wish u the very best in ur pursuit. as for me my nnpc dream is over if it happens fine if it doesn't better.
I know most want this job cos of the financial benefit but seriously there r far better opportunities. Time waits for no one . Bye

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
H.G.I.S.............do u really tink its easy to get a hand full of people who r scattered all over d country to come together like dat?? well, lets tank God for ICT gadgets if we wia to do dis via manual means wot do u tink the effect would be like?
if really u r a "Hopeful", pls see reason to contribute meaningfully to the way forward of our course!!. i like critics though, bt pls wen u do try to be constructive in doing so. ...pls i will appreciate it we could all leave easy contacts info such as phone numbers so dat we cn also do via dat... thanks all

sSYGgi stop talking trash. Lagos protest has already held successfuly and was never truncated by any one. Neither do they have the capacity to stop any media publication. Meeting with the MPR is 21st century nonesense and has already been thrown into the waste bin by this house SO JUST STOP TAILING TRASH !!
-
@sSYGgi. Its like you a completely new here. Pls throw away that trash ur dealing with. Lagos protest has already held successfuly and was never truncated by any one. Neither do they have the capacity to stop any media publication. Meeting with the MPR is 21st century nonesense and has already been thrown into the waste bin by this house COS THATS A VERY BIG TRASH !!

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Life is merely not about expecting, hoping and wishing , it's about doing, being and becoming. It's about the choices you are about to make, it's about the things you choose to say today.
It's about what you are gonna do after u finish reading this....enough of the talking...pls let's be proactive and pay in money into d account so d publication can be done.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@jonkal. sorry i see u r just a memeber, Hope u r a true "Hopeful"?... so wot result(s) did u "SO called Protest" yield?? nt even an ear heard of it!!!
to tell u the truth, if i were d MPR d un-called for protest u stage, the more i delay d letters.
think again my friend, hw will know the cause of the delay if u dnt hear from those responsible?
no matter wot be d case u must be certain wot d reasons truly r. u havent heard from dem wich is d main bone of contention here, and u r nt even doing any
tin meaningful to draw a attention of NNPC in terms of hearing from dem!!
as i talk i can tell u this: NNPC at d moment doesnt even have dia focus on the recruitment, it is dia by d corner, may be wen dey will realize dia is a pending recruitment will be in %yrs time if care is not taken!
i tell u dis bcos i have more dan 3 family members inhouse NNPC. but the truth however is dis; according to dia words ............. d exercise is nt canceled! bt time of conclusion is n certain.
we may only knw wen if we meet the person in charge n who is no oda dan d MPR her self,
thanks bro (sSYGgi) 08037762106

Yes Mr English. I will make the merit list. I don't know of u.
How much good do u think you are in English? And you think it is only good English that it takes to secure good jobs?
Mr English, compose a letter for the house awaiting our decision on proposed visit to MPR or demand for conclusion of the recruitment by publication.
Mr English, Good morning. May God be our helper.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
sSYGgi. If you truly you are a hopeful and have been following the issu raised and discussed here on this thread, you would have known that from the info coming in from Lagos, the Lagos protest was responded to by the woman in charge of Lagos HR after consulting the head of HR at HQ. What do you think the MPR will tell you if you meet her. OK GUYS JUST GO HOME AND RELAX YOUR MIND. WE WILL SOON GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU. Mind you,on my own point of view, the essence of the struggle is not to stop the process from being cancelled cos like i said over and over again, the process will be concluded. The essence of this struggle is to compel them to hasten the conclusion of the process. And if you may also know the MPR is not even the reason for the delay. There are quite of major political interests and other matters which are all mixed up in this whole issue. I beg to take some leave once more to attend to some equally seriouse issues. Bye to all.

@jonkal again i say u r right.......... pls am sorry guys i withdraw that request for phone numbers.. the essence is to accept correction. i may nt be right always bt
the truth of the matter is this: the Lagos HR any any other state for hat matter cannot issues d order to complete recruitment. its only the MPR who cn do so.
u may also be right that the recruitment must come to completion as against a total abandonment! pls also do realize this: that if the exercise completes in 5ys time, the meaning of the word "COMPLETION" will still remain the same!!! as for me and as for our plight if dia is need to do any tin, lets meet with the personin charge!! if nt pls lets keep waiting for the time they will answer us!! 5yrs time will nt too much then!! jonkal hope u heard me 5YRS!...............i tink if we begin nw to look for routes to which we cn reach d MPR the better for us!!

@sSYGsgi:if I were you, I will first deposit 20k into simsolution acct, then I will use the effect that will create to persuade the house to dance to my tune...
But fortunately or unfortunately that never occured to you,you can still play on the mind of the hopefuls if you do as I suggest...

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
I know people like sSYGgi. I once led a group of students to protest our non payment of SIWES allowance at the uni. Then there was a suggestion that we dialogue with the guys in charge, who had fraudulently switched our names. Bottom Line: The guys who tried to lead the dialogue ended up begging that at least their own names should be included. They were paid. They fed me a story abt how they were threatened by the school admin with expulsion if students protest openly. I believed them, and urged the crowd to back out of the protest. I initally didn't support our planned protest but, I can now see that we are right to do so. sSYGgi-->THIS IS 2012 JACK! NEVER AGAIN WILL I FALL VICTIM TO SUCH LIES!!! PROTEST AND SCANDAL IS OUR AGREED WEAPON! WE MOVE NOW!!!

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@House:only a few on this forum suffered not while they were seeking admission, studying in school and after graduation...
Some of us had the opportunity to be yahoo-yahoo but we never took d bait...
Some even had d opptnt 2bcom hookers and strippers abroad but we never took it...
Countless are the rainy nights when some of us had nothing to eat at school except garri and locust beans-yes,locust beans to cancel out the effect d garri might have on d eyes...
Some lost unmetionables during the struggle...respect,dignity,loved ones etc...
And when the fruits of our labour is ripe onough to be plucked,we are been barred from accessing it...
I commit them-that hinder the end of this recruitment-to the mighty hands of God...so that He may deal with them according to their worth...
Let us hurry up with the publication stuff plssss....

When i said it dat some folks were actually on a mischief mission, some guys on dis thread were alway handy to doubt and make unnecessary arguements in defence of their views. May i happily announce to the house that after he failed to convince members on this thread to drop our idea of going ahead with our media publication and planned protest,Mr sSYGgi has gone ahead dis afternoon to open a new and parallel thread to counter this our noble thread. The title of his new thread is " NNPC Hopes Alive". Meanwhile he is soliciting for support from anyone who wishes to join forces with him so that (according to him) "they can do it better" to indicate interest on his thread. You can find his thread on the General discussion section and in its open discussion sub-section of NaijaHotJob. Then i begin to ask myself why would anyone take such pain and go to such length to combat our efforts here if not dat he is on a serious mission that portends great benefits to either himself or to some other persons that may be sponsoring him to do so. Comrades shine ur eyes. Watch and pray. Give on room untie devil. Remain Blessed.

@All, I am beginning to suspect this sSYGgi of a person. He appears to me as someone very desperate. He definitely has a objective and I don't think that objective is in our best interest. Please let us all ignore him. He should remain the passive member he has been all these while. Let him demonstrate commitment to our goal by contributing generously to our fund. Then we may start to think of taking him seriously.
Cheers,
