Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke said some stakeholders in the petroleum sector want her sacked because she has resisted ‘business as usual’ tradition in the oil sector that short change the country.Speaking to newsmen yesterday, the minister said those afraid of her leadership style have skeleton in their cupboards and do not mean well for the sector.
She said, “those fighting the government in the media are doing so because we have been able to frustrate their efforts in strangulating the economy through their devilish black market and questionable profiteering at the expense of the Nigerian people.”Diezani said those accusing her of being corrupt and inefficient are people afraid of the reform agenda in the sector, saying “never again will the government allow the return of the age-long cartel in the country’s oil and gas sector.”
She may fool Nigerians but not us....This woman is a virus.....
If what usmar is saying is correct then maybe the meeting btw dpr n fcc really took place n that is why lawmaker said madam n fcc reach a compromise.
But d problem wit usmar post is that its too brief n direct to test its authenticity. Well as normal we will continue praying.
@umty there nothing new in the information given by @lawmaker. usmar, sakabu, nitwealth and others have all given these information (ie new COC, additional names and meeting b/w DPR and FCC where compromise was reached) before him. He should give us some thing new.
My fellow dpr faithfuls let add faith to our prayers with a firm believe that God had answered our prayers wit mental impression dat u have received ur letter.
When praying dont let dat doubt telling u dat madam will not approve bcos negative thought or doubt kills prayer.always be positive when praying

It is about time this people stopped playing with our emotions. 3yrs, (waiting) on one job could be devastating yet every week we keep expecting the so called letters to come but seeing none. Dpr is not heaven on earth. It did not take them anything to conclude the nnpc. Right now they are about getting the second batch into reality. We cannot say that all the politics that is playing out in dpr did not play out in the nnpc yet it was released and they will soon conclude their training. If they want to give out these letters it does not take them anything more than a day to give the order for the release of the letters. These so called COC, signing, fcc, court cases, etc is just politics. The question of the north dominating the list is also not the issue b/c they are more northerners in the nnpc list that was released than the dpr’s and it did not stop the list. They are yet to tell us why they are playing politics with our emotions for three yrs running. It is rather unfortunate!!!!!
