Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
I'll give some facts and figures. Draw your conclusions and make your stories out of it:
An in-tray session, after which you go for the interview proper. The longest interview I've ever been to (talking for close to 2 hours and everything I ate practically disappeared). That's why they'll keep some stuff at the entrance for you to eat shaa. Panel was rigorous (everyone is not facing the same panel though).
The will get back to "top-flying" candidates as from two weeks' time (those were his words).
Interviews are on Mon, Tue and Wed (estimated 24 candidates: 4 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon each day), both trainee and experienced inclusive. It was gathered that on Monday there were 2 guys & 2 ladies in the morning, 2 guys & 2 ladies in the afternoon also. Some of the ladies are currently contract staff in the company or present/past associates of the company (in the form of NYSC or Internship). Among the 4 in the afternoon, it was only one candidate that is familiar with NHJ.
I was particularly happy to meet a guy that we both missed the NB Plc test on that 22nd. When we arrived Unilag from Canton, the self-acclaimed punctual Workforce were already packing their stuff and all our begging was to no avail. Circumstance couldn't allow us interact at one of the interview rooms, we only had handshake and he left.
This is just a feedback (nice-to-know basis). It's not meant to help anybody on the interview.

That they didn't ask Mr A why he chose HSE does not mean they won't ask Mr B to explain how Elect/Elect can be applied to oil and gas facilities.

Hi, just being curious - but is there any reason why you are not providing direct answers? People (some, atleast) on here just want tips from you, but you seem to be a little bit reserved about your experience in detail? Please don't get me wrong oh, I haven't been invited for the interview. I'm just observing really.
