I presume that GMAT, GSE and Assessment day all have a lot in common. SHL is unique especially in the Spatial Reasoning. So far, I've not been able to lay my hands on any GSE material both online and offline. So, if you can't lay your hand on any preferred format, just make do with the ones that are available.
Let's give this the best shot we can.
the you guys use calculator for the total test...if yes then it has 2 b SHL/GSE format and not GMAT...pls confirm

Yes, we used calculators supplied by Dragnet Solutions. We were not allowed to use personal calculators even though almost all of us came with different grade s of calculators.
Everybody should note that the materials being circulated on the forum so far is AssessmentDay materials (Practise Questions and Solutions). So if that's what you have already, you don't need to redownload then from the sites I uploaded them to. If there's any other one, I believe we'll get them soon.

Thanks for the info. If u guys used calculators then the test isn't in GMAT format because GMAT questions are designed to be taken without calculators. I hope this helps the house. You guys can also get some sample questions and tips on how to pass the numerical section from "numericalguru.com". All the best

Well, with all due respect, i think u r quite inexperienced when it comes 2 taking aptitude tests for u not to know dt. GMAT tests are designed to test your non-linear techniques and shortcut solving ability so no GMAT format test is taken with a calculator. Do your research young man...but there's no harm in practising with GMAT questions...it'll help improve ur math skills...but the format just diff from d rest. I hope that answers ur question and sorry if i sounded harsh/blunt

Ah! Oga no vex, why are you taking it personal? Mr Experience!
Anyways, YES, that will be the standard GMAT format (FYI - I have taken the GMAT test before)! Going back to my question on the IEC GMAT book, which is nothing like standard GMAT - there is no way these tests will not need calculators, I am staring at the book! Or dyu want to tell us how to work out the log and antilog of numbers without a calculator or table???

I first got a mail from Exxon Personnel telling me that Dragnet will soon send me an Invite and I should update my details to include my preferred test centre.
Then Dragnet sent me a message on Friday asking that I should check my mail and upload the said details which I did on Sunday.
That's the process so far friend

lol...i've never written any aptitude test dt told me 2 calculate log or anti-log so i think u r wasting ur time practising dt...no test administrator gives u a scientific calculator to take a numerical reasoning test...google "free numerical reasoning practice test online" and practice diff formats of numerical test under timed conditions. that's d advise i can give for now. gudluck

This is why you need to read questions before replying!
My initial question was based on the statement that "gmat is not designed to be taken with calculators", and whether or not you were referring to the iec "gmat" book. Nothing to do with log or antilog coming out in the aptitude test, that was just to prove a point.
Thank you for the good luck, same to you mate!
