Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
For petroleum engineering guys: revise the basics of your reservoir engineering (preferably by skimming thru Tarek Ahmad). A good petroleum engineer should be able to play around pressure like a toy, so be sure that 50% of your questions will contain pressure related exercises. Pressure gradients, productivity index, API, decline curve analysis and so on should be in your finger tips. Master the recovery mechanisms with their various xteristics as well as types of oil reservoirs. As usual, porosity, permeability and saturation things are expected. All the best guys!

ATTENTION!!!!
(Check your spam folder 1st, I didn't realize i was invited for this test until a few hours ago. Y? cos the mail was in my spam folder all along!)
If Chevron test is anything to go by then i speculate the test for 2mao will have standard engineering questions that engineers from all fields are expected to know.
That said, i will advise you should focus of basic engineering designs and calculations, engineering economics and also calculations related to project management.
You should also focus on specifics related to your course of study in case we are made to answer one or two questions in our individual course of study.
Good luck 2mao.
Does anyone have a spare calculator?

@ Read7: I specified subsurface engineer in my cover letter, that was the only way to apply for the experienced positions right?
