Just a tip from d last skills test conducted.
D Mech test consisted of abt 45 obj questions to b ans'd in 60 mins.
Topics covered were mainly turbo-machinery, as such is tilted in favour of those who picked options in Automotive Engineering Technology and Air-condition and Ref'gn Engrg.
Turbo-machinery such as Compressors, Turbines, Pumps, pressured vessels, heat exchangers etc, as they relate to oil and gas processing, storage and transportation.
These definitely have a lot to do with, Heat and Mass Transfer, Fluid mechanics and mechanics of machines where things as inclined planes and basic mechanics is invloved.
I hope this helps, I wish Ÿ̲̣̣̣̥ø̲̣̣̥u̶̲̥̅̊ all d best, I will update as I recall.

You should be able to deduce calculations without thinking too much. The use of calculators is irrelevant. You are no longer in the aptitude stage and a calculator will not give any advantage. If the problems require calculators, they'll let you use them. Considering the number of candidates, i doubt the interview will be the same day. (Don't quote me on that oo)
POI hope this helps
