You should try get a more reliable info from pple working in those sectors or perharps if anyone in the house can give an objective view..I have worked in the banking sector but has no knowledge of the other.

I suggets u go for CBN for a relaible job security.

Hi y'all. I'm new to naijahotjobs. I just browse thru posts but this topic and another in general discussion section caught my attention that's why I quickly registered.

@ poster: I dont know what u studied or ur qualifications to help me make a more informed decision but I'll just assume that u want a place where u can progress in ur career.

CBN is a govt owned coy. I have a friend who used to work in their Sokoto office; he told me that their practice is totally different from the work-pattern of commercial banks. CBN is more of an administration arm of banking sector. U do ur work, no monetary target, u relax ur body and mind. Another neighbour once told me that married women like there bcos it gives them more time to take care of their family. Adding work experience in CBN on a CV weighs better than Globacom.

Globacom, yes they pay better, but they have a poor organisational structure. U work in shifts,that is, for customer care officers so u will still have time for urself. However, there's no clear framework on promotion and career progression.

I would suggest u go for CBN cos it a good place to build ur career and it offers a better job security.

Now, take the statistics of all responses and draw a conclusion from it. Choose wisely dude.
