A lot of computer users in corporate network are always furious with IT department because of different levels of restrictions placed on their computers and user accounts. In that situation some might just find their way to see if they can stop the flow of policies to their computers.
So what is the crux of this class?
We need to have a full grasp pf Organizational Units in other to deploy policies on computers and Users.
1. No Override Settings: Settings we apply to make sure no higher or lower policy can override the policy in use.
2. Block Policy Inheritance Settings: Based on the hierarchical structure of our OU, we can stop the flow of group policy link to a particular Organizational Units.
3. Disabling Computer /User Configuration Settings: Most times, it will be simply best to disable a policy link instead of deleting it. So, we’ll hit that straight here.
4.Policy Link: Administratively, instead of configuring policies after policies again and again….we might as well link group policy to OU, Domain, or Forest
