Principal Accountabilities:

* Acts as Company Records Co-ordinator to ensure that Company policies are followed by all employees
* Develop & implement strategy in conjunction with BAT Group Records Manager to embed Records Management culture in Nigeria Area
* Work together with Internal Communications Manager to develop and implement a Records Management communication plan
* Provide an effective and efficient administrative service to a high level of competency
* Responsible for organising extensive global travel arrangements for Area Director - correct transportation, hotels and visas in place.
* Other specific duties that may be assigned from time to time in order to achieve the above.

* Plans own workload to anticipate and balance priorities, thus optimising output.
* Raises Purchase Orders and undertakes invoice coding using SAP
* Using electronic calendars the jobholder will be responsible for the maintenance of diaries, reviewing and responding to electronic mail for Area Director as and when required.
* Prepare complex presentations and briefings in French and English.
* Organises conferences (local and global), workshops and team-build events e.g. Leaders Forum with limited direction.

* Solid secretarial and administrative skills, including excellent verbal and written communication

* Firm foundation of interpersonal skills – mature, responsible, assertive attitude
* Excellent organisation skills
* Ability to establish priorities, maintain confidentiality and work under pressure
* Above average numeracy skills to work with financial systems and resolve queries
* Competent internet research
* Good command of software packages, ability to work with new packages and undertake basic database administration.
* Applicants must possess very good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* The job also demands a person with excellent interpersonal & communication skills and a flair for preparing complex reports and paperwork in English and French.
