Adexen is recruiting an Executive Assistant for one of its client - a leading and corporate organization in West Africa with its operational headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Group’s activities are in manufacturing, imports, exports, and commodity trading and property development.

The Executive Assistant will have to provide executive support to the Chairman of the Group. The position is based in Lagos / Abuja.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for supporting strategic direction of the Chairman/ Chief Executive’s office.
Management of Chairman/ Chief Executive’s diary to ensure efficient utilization of Chairman/ Chief Executive’s time on current priorities.
Ensure that supervision and co-ordination of the Chairman’s business affairs / activities are in line with current strategic and operational objectives of the organization.
Responsible for effective monitoring and performance management of key initiatives and staff.
Assist in the setting of initiatives in line with the Chairman/ Chief Executive’s current operational objectives.
Will provide support and advice for Chairman / Chief Executive n strategic/operational needs.
Responsible for co-ordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of various projects
Will represent Chairman/ Chief Executive as required, on various committees, official functions, and meetings (nationally and internationally).
Act as liaison between management levels within the organization.
Assist in policy development, implementation, and review.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3 to 5 years of direct working experience with CEO of large corporation
Skilled Executive with excellent planning and organizational skills
Diligence in managing challenging situations and multiple priorities through to completion.
Ability to develop, interpret; apply strategic and operational policies / guidelines effectively and accurately.
Initiative to work independently and also as a team member.
Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality, and judgment in dealing with sensitive issues or data.
Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and crisis situations.
Outstanding verbal, written communication and negotiating skills.
Well-developed research and analysis skills, using findings to develop well evidenced conclusions.
Ability to negotiate, persuade and influence at corporate levels and across organization boundaries.
Excellent word processing skills, computer literate
