Nice piece of information!

Recently, there have been complaints of missing bonus shares by
investors. The situation is compounded by the introduction of ebonus
by some of the companies.

Investigations reveal that in most cases, the bonus shares are
depositted into closed cscs accounts of such investors.

One discovered that when an investor asked that his cscs account be
transferred to another broker, the old account is usually left open
by cscs. Since in most cases investors do not notify company
registrars that they have moved such accounts, company registrars
deposit bonus entitlements into these supposedly closed accounts.

The investors are unaware of this and think the shares are missing.

If you are in this situation, please approach your old brokers and
get them to print out the most current cscs statement for you. You
may be surprised that the shares you are looking for are in these
closed accounts.

Same may apply to ePOs.
