I know both are impotant in a relationship but if you are given an opinion which will you choose?

well both is very important but the most, i will say is love ,

I believe if you LOVE anybody, you naturally will TRUST the person. So, Love is more important. An unconditional Love.

In my opinion, based on percentage; 65% Love and 35% Trust. This is probably because I believe there can be no TRUST when there is no LOVE. In addition, Love should have attained a relatively high level before Trust can be meaningful.

However I have seen cases where men love their women without necessarily loving them a case so typical of our modern marriages in Nigeria today.

love without trust is full of heartach,misunderstanding, problem etc before any true love, there must be trust. You cant love one that u dont trust.For me l say TRUST comes first

I guess u folks are getting it all wrong or mixed up. The first question we should ask here is: WHAT IS LOVE? Love can simply be defined by its properties and based on this, different people have different definitions for love. A litmus test for love is this: If this person you say you love has a kidney failure, how easy will it be for you to donate your kidney. Would you give a long thought or would just go ahead a do it? Again, this person you say you love this much, if he/she gets an acid bath would you still love him/her? Love is deeper than we think it is and anything less than that is not love. Such thing could have a lot of names and one of them is 'infactuation'. Distrust on the other hand means absence of trust and it means you lack of confidence. It means you cannot share secrets, dreams, passion etc with such a person. So tell me, How could you love someone you cannot share you personal life with? In conclusion, I would want to say that Love and Trust are not mutually exclusive. You cannot love a person you don't trust and vice versa. They are both different states of one thing.
