Topic: How do u answer this interview question???

How wud u reply this question? Have you ever told a lie before? Someone answered yes and lost the job... just want to know if there is more to d question?

I really agree with Maydav..it's not likely that it was his saying yes to that question that was the reason he didn't get the job. Even if the interviewers are unfavorably disposed to people that lie, it's a matter of stating that yes you have but you no longer do..not even under the greatest pressure. Say stuff like you have been building a reputation of trust, integrity and character for over 3,4,5..years (etc) which you are sure will be a major plus to the addition.
You have to remember that the key to seemingly 'negative' answer questions like this is to turn the answer around...into something that looks good and will improve your chances of getting the job.
