If asked such question my answer will be YES too. ask ur friend may be there are other questions that gose with it .No body on this earth will ever prove to me that in one way or the other he or she has never told lies .one will not becos u need a job and u tell lies u will even impress the judges if u tell them the truth.so my dear i dont think yes to d question was the reason why he failed the interview.

I really agree with Maydav..it's not likely that it was his saying yes to that question that was the reason he didn't get the job. Even if the interviewers are unfavorably disposed to people that lie, it's a matter of stating that yes you have but you no longer do..not even under the greatest pressure. Say stuff like you have been building a reputation of trust, integrity and character for over 3,4,5..years (etc) which you are sure will be a major plus to the addition.
You have to remember that the key to seemingly 'negative' answer questions like this is to turn the answer around...into something that looks good and will improve your chances of getting the job.
