To answer some questions that some people are asking, I have reposted the advert below wich came out on 8th of June 2010.

SAIPEM CONTRACTING NIGERIA LIMITED, a leading Construction Company in the Energy sector is looking for qualified Nigerians to fill various positions within the Engineering department.

Positions are at Entry level (Graduate Trainees) for the following disciplines:

• PIPING AND PIPELINE ENGINEERS (REF: PPENG)
• INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERS (REF: INSTENG)
• ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS (REF: ELCTENG)
• MECHANICAL ENGINEERS (REF: MCHENG)
• PROCESS ENGINEERS (REF: PRCSENG)
• CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS (REF: CSTENG)
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
• To be qualified, you must hold a First or Second Class degree or HND Upper Credit in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical/Process Engineering and Materials and metallurgy Engineering
• Must not be older than 29 years by December 2010 and must have completed the NYSC programme.

HOW TO APPLY

• Interested persons should forward their Resume to [email protected], using job reference code as e-mail subject (E.g., REF: Ppeng – for Piping and Pipeline Engineer).
• Application closes 3 weeks from the date of this advert.
• Applicants are strongly advised not to apply for more than one position.

Only short listed candidates shall be contacted for Assessment and Interviews.

So the invitations must have been sent out based on the position you put in for, and those who want to gatecrash should do so on the day scheduled for the position that they applied for. However, if you didnt apply at all, no need to gatecrash.

From previous posts, it seems we can infer the following test dates

CSTENG --9/08
PRCSENG -- 11/08
PPENG -- 12/08
MCHENG -- 14/08

and the venue is continental hotel, VI Lagos

Any other positions that have been invited should inform the house of the dates.

I thot some persons said theirs were scheduled 4rm 9th,10th,11th an so on...But,after writing U didnt come back 2 give us feedbk on wat D questns looked like..,shey na like Dis we go Dey Dey?..Anyway,pls house I need directions on how 2 get 2 D venue 4rm Sango-Ota..Treat as urgent..

@National Union of Gate Crashers: Please was gate crashing possible for the test scheduled for 9th-11th pls inform us so we would know how best to apply this limited resource called "owo" for some of us living outside Lagos
