Hello guys, I am Buhari d 1 elbashyr is tlkng abt. I can't rmbr more dan what he posted here. All i knw is dat it compose of 3 section. 1) maths olevel, indices & log, intgrn, dffrn. 2)english olevel. 3) general & 4 engineering is all d same which is physics & chemistry. Dis format is as of oct last year i dnt knw weder dey have change 4mat now cos i am no longer with dem now but 4 more info call 08034541981. His name is suleiman.

SAIPEM ENGR TEST

This is the complete breakdown of the Saipem test.
The first stage is same ..be it instrumentation and electrical or civil. There are about 48 questions in all, maths, physics, chemistry.
physics and xtry.. basic questions, Newton’s law, balance of chemical equations, alkane, alkines, cnH2n series in general.

ENGINEERING TEST
Topics:- Limit and functional limitation
- Integration ( simple integral)
- Differentiation
- Progressive Series of any case
- Percentage gain and loss e.g A man gave 20% as discount on material he sold and after some days, he gave additional 10%. What is the total discount. Answer is 28%.

SECOND STAGE
MECHANICAL TEST
- Mechanics of machine
- Volumetric efficiency
- mass flow rate
- Bernolies equation
- Continuity equation
- Piping layout system
- Gearing system arrangement
- Fluid machinery
- Pump, compressor and turbine————- calculate power or energy
- Physical goegraphy
- Balancing of chemical equation
- diatomic and monoatomic gas i.g which of the following is a monoatomic gas (a. oxygen (b. hydrogen (c. nitrogen (d. carbon di oxide the answer is nitrogen

The Civil test is on the following:

Structural mechnics

Hey this is hint as touching Electrical Engineering test in Saipem
1. Power factor
2. Earthing system i.e TN,TNS e.t.c
3. Unit of resistance

Wishing u ladies and guys who will be going for the test God'd favour and success


and another post:
u guyz should be careful in the test cos in the 1st section (Engineering Test), u'll have 30 qsts to be answered in an hour (such a gud time) but dont dare answer a qstn u dont know cos 4 every qstn u gt wrong, 4 marks will be deducted from ur score while in d 2nd section (skill Test),u'll have from 15 - 20 qstns and from every 1 goten wrong, 0.5 marks will b deducted.

So do study ur difftn,integration,number series,log,% profit and loss, etc very well.
