I just went through NNPC advert on one of the national dailies this morning, I started asking myself, does it mean that from all the people that were interviewed on the last recruitment exercise none of them can fit in those positions advertised, but d answer is NO, or does it mean that its only a routine that d should just advertise for position in every 2 years, I think the only problem this country is having is continuity, I know that the new GMD just want to conduct his own recruitment exercise. but God pass them.

@royfi83: A lot of you don't seem to understand that between 2010 and now, new graduates have been produced. They have to be catered for too. So, this new recruitment occasion is very welcome irrespective of the shortcomings of previous processes. NNPC is not anybody's father's company. Management would employ people as they deem fit. If you are not in a position, you can't understand the workings of the position. It is easier to make comments from outside a system, you only understand when you are in the system yourself. Competition gets stiffer by the minute job-wise worldwide. God would definitely do what is best at all times. I wish you God's blessing.

Yes, u are correct we are not selfish people like some people, at time will come in Nigeria that people will be graduating from engineering school and the jobs will be waiting for them in oil & gas if Nigerian govt realy explores the abundance of oil & gas in the country. If NNPC had recruited last 2006, why it could not take at least 1000Gts with expansion of work annually? So, 2010 recruitment 2nd ready to be released.Lets keep on praying.

@all, as this thread comes to a successful end,it will not be out of place to give recognition and honour to those who truely deserve them. I think everybody that has posted here or contributed to this forum deserves a medal. If we had to rename the thread, it should be called Kalokalo thread. Kudos to you Kalokalo! You shall reap the reward of your endeavours. What about the harbingers of Hope- atomicity,Jajamark, bb1,Vin20 et.al, and, the King of them all, Terraco, you deserve a national honour. If all of us were just like you, the saying that there is '' strength in diversity'' would not have been meaningless in Nigeria context. Should i forget Jesus Army? No. This plot would not have been complete without you, though I did not always agree with your posts, you were a vital piece of the puzzle. And let me put something straight, let us not castigate those who were part of us in the struggle and felt they let us down when they were now employed, it's no fault of theirs. In a workplace, people are made to sign an oath of secrecy which preclude them from divulging company's info. I know someone will be saying what about Terraco? For that Terraco wins my man of the forum. Whether we eventually get the employment or not in NNPC, let us remember, we are all victors because the experience that we take out of here would serve us well in the future. God bless all of us on this forum, and I pray that our expectations shall not be cut off. Adios folks!!!!

Many of us could understand now, we pray that God will surely favor us in the ready-to-be-released batch. I was excited when I heard that NNPC lauched another recruitment campaign bcos I knew that the remaining list of 2010 recruitment exercise was about to come out so that they would go and join the 1st batch in training.

If u are yet to be called by NNPC in 2010 job exercise and u are hopeful, the hope is 100% alive and the thread is yet to come to a close despite the release of another Job Vacancies. We believed, confirmed that next calls would soon be made. Never loose hope bcos surprises are coming.God reigns.

As many people who are saying with d new recruitment advert, no more calls from 2010 recruitment exercise, have u asked yourself why at this time, why was it not last week , why is it not next week of training. Very soon , many will understand better. I will always say 'wishing all the best'.

hello peeps i am not trying to be a doubtful thomas here....and i sincerely hope it is true....but m still at a loss How u people think this new recruitment advert is connected to nnpc releasing a second list....Infact i feel if there's any connection between d 2010 recruitment and dis newly advertised one, it should be that dis new advert signifies d conclusion of the previous one. But sincerely what does a little boy know, just my thought and any one with a better explanation should enlighten me abeg

Pls let's not forget,2008 sets were employed in 2010.Though there is a new advert but the advert has nothing to do with 2010 hopefuls as We are still hoping and expecting God for a miracle. This advert is for those that will be employed in 2014 and has nothing to do with us that are yet to be employed this year. Of a truth nnpc has released some letters since last week friday but the letters is for internal staffs only. They applied for a course & it was approved by the GMD late last month which has just been released but that not withstanding there is still hope for the hopefuls. As for when the 1st batch will resume training, it is certainly not now because they've not been posted to their SBU's where they have to report first & document before the training. What they are doing now is documentation in Abuja which I believe will round off this month. Fellow hopefuls, pls do not be carried away with this advert as the process is not over. October next month there will be an interview for the waiting list after which the successful candidates will be added to the pending names that are yet to receive their employment letters. I still stand on my words.
