You guys can actually give him your details to verify for you. At this point, there is really nothing to lose. If they are serious about absorbing us, fine. We'll still start work. If they are no longer interested, there would be no harm in trying. And I back him asking others to corroborate him. His source might be a GGM, another person's source might be a GED and am sure you know how varying their different 'infos' are bound to be. So, someone should step up and corroborate. Am not in Abuja now and calling is a waste of time, has never worked with my source. I'd rather we see over drinks, that way I'll know when you lie to me.
@Vin20: irrespective of your outcome in the recruitment (which from your fervour seems positive if you've got a reply and you're still attending to us) ask your source if he's willing to sezrch for other people's names. This reeks of desperation but on the other hand, if there is a list (as we believe there is) then we would have to step up the good pressure we've started to mount. And on that, job well done house. Nothing is more powerful than voices raised in unison for a common goal. This will have a logical conclusion.

smokee, i just want to remind u of the three things i hv said so far on this thread,1, that 2008 recruitment is still alive,2,that the board sits every 2nd sat of everymonth, 3, that some names onlist is bring arguement between madam and other GED, if not so it would have been released this january,

@Vin20, thanks for the info. Dont be amazed why pple find it difficult to beleive u. It is simply bcos so many pple in this have made predictions in the past but only to heightend pple's BP for nothing. I am sure if ur info is real or false, we shall know soonest since u said ur source gave 3rd fri of feb as deadline for the release of all letas. We are waiting patiently for the day. so, no cause for unnecesary altercation.
Legitimate and Qualified nigerians who started this process from applying in Nov 2010 to the invitation to test in march 26th 2011 uptil the interview at the towers between july and august 2011 should not be made to suffer because one GED smuggled a name or some names into the final list or madam minister herself smuggled too many names into that list. Is it that a GED must get some names into every recruitment or madam minister must provide 0-50% of the final list of successful ones to be employed. Which one? In any case this is physical and spiritual wickedness on the part of whosoever is holding sway on the parts of both the NNPC and the Petroleum Ministry. The type of wickedness Apostle Paul mentioned in Ephesians 6:12. This and many more are the reasons why Nigeria is a sleeping giant. What is sad about this whole thing is that the sleep is getting too long..........

The delay boils down to the issue of money, cos nnpc is trying to clean up its act.
My source informed me that of the 4 categories advertised only the contract staff resumed in Dec/Jan this year. he also complained that their upfront which is usually paid latest by the 5th of Jan is still pending.
He met with the head of the exercise, and he was shown the list for the other categories and was told that as soon as the go ahead is given letters will be printed and dispatched. He advised I exercise a lil patience.
So its possible to check one's name as mentioned by Vin20 .
