MSC in Control can 1. give u a job in almost all industries apart frm d oil companies. 2. If u more interested in academics, u cn get a good lecturing job with control. 3. Oil n Gas Msc is very restrictive, u can't start up anytin on ur own as in a firm.

    Thanks guys,
I don't know how true but a practicing proffesssional told me school pedigree is important and that schools like huddersfield don't measure up.
He said its better to take up oil n gas or wait till sept 4 better school n study control.
    What do u think.
I need to make a decision this week.
    Thanks for your help

guy i disagree with that ur practicing professional..huddersfield isn't bad atall, plus if u are taking the oil and gas at aberdeen only becos of the skul's name, the truth is u ld still be limited like the other guys have noted, aberdeen or no aberdeen..i m currently on an M.Eng chem eng'g program in naija here, and guy trust me when i say its Control all the way! my own opinion sha
