Qualifications (Education, Years of Experience, Specialized Training, etc):
Extensive experience, ideally, in all aspects of pipeline operations both on land and offshore
Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
Able to comprehend commercial contracts and be aware of the implications of the terms and conditions
Able to recognize and seize commercial opportunities, particularly through the practice of variations
Must be computer literate and proficient with Excel to facilitate in invoice preparation and other spreadsheet analysis
In addition to a sound practical background must be capable of producing / reviewing engineering procedures, quality and safety plans
Must be able to manage multiple projects, ensuring that they are operationally and commercially a success
Working knowledge of SAP sales and distribution would be an advantage
Minimum 3 - 5 Years experience in pipeline services operations, with at least 2 years experience in an engineering role, is preferred
An engineering degree or HND is desirable but not essential
Must hold a full driving license


Job Description:
Play a key role in meeting area financial objectives
Willing to supervise/lead several project teams, within a demanding environment
Ensure all project workscopes are completed and managed in accordance with Company procedures
Be responsible for safe and professional pipeline operations both offshore and onshore, and West Africa
Must be able to demonstrate a high level of personnel management both in the field and in the base
Manage the production of work procedures, equipment mobilizations, final reports and attend client meetings
Assist with the preparation of internal revenue reporting, particularly with the projects under their control

Additional Information:

The Pipeline Coordinator will be expected to assist the Sales/Commercial Coordinators with Sales visits and tendering during periods of low, operational activity, however Operations will remain as the job-holders priority.
An on call system is in operation (currently one in every 5 weeks). This position requires the applicant to partake in the on call rota when available.
BJ PPS and Northern Europe and West Africa (NEWA) operations, includes the North Sea, Norway and West Africa, Nigeria and Russia. Personnel will be expected to work in any location, on land, swamp and offshore, as and when required. The majority of this work will be office based in Aberdeen although occasional offshore and overseas visits may be required.
