Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
Very very very interesting development, well that is if this information/list turns out to be genuine.
Hmmmm, *flash back* I remember the protest, clamoring for a test rewrite, solidarity for ever... and then this
Also makes me kind of remember *Mr Ugochima*
*deep breath* No be naija again?
Well like I said early all depends on how genuine this development is.

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
Abegy! There's no list anywhere jare. It's all a hoax. There are people who have their info straight from Exxonmobil HR and if there's anything like that, it would have been published in a place where people would have easily seen it, either sms would have been sent to successful ones or it would have been pasted on their website. Exxonmobil can't be scared of anyone in their decisions on who makes the list or not. And pls, graduates, enough of this mindset that there are some people who should pass the test by virtue of what they came out of the university with. I know a first class classmate of mine in the university who has gotten Shell's regret mail since. It was aptitude tests we all wrote not course-related test o. And by the way, the effort you put in a test + God's overall mercy is what guarantees you success. And that effort is individualistic. You can assume for anyone. Na only ur own you sabi. Even if u sef say u don blast, no forget say anoda man fit blast pass you. Na cut-off wey the recruiter fix na hin matter.
Make God just dey bless us go.
Exxonmobil here I come!

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
Okay i am going to be very candid on this one whether or not it insults anyones intelligence..
The rate at which a lot of people here believe anything that is posted is really appalling. If you believe any of the giberrish, then you need to go back and spend another 4years in college because you wasted the last 4,5 or 6 that you spent getting that piece of worthless paper called a certificate.
You can only vouch for yourself. The guy who made the post on that website about his friends getting 4.999 or whatever and not being selected definitely wasted his time in school. Anybody that believes or even bothers to listen to him should also re-evaluate his/her degree. What if his friends failed the geology aptitude test? There are tonnes of nigerian graduates who only know how to read and memorize. A lot of them lack "aptitude reasoning". This is why you would find some people with excellent GPA's who can't pass the simplest aptitude tests (i'm not saying that is the case in this situation though). Did the author ever consider the fact that those chosen may have performed excellently well? What if his/her friends scored 92percent and those chosen scored 98% ?
The mere mention of oil flowing in their backyard and the obvious empahsis on "yoruba" shows the author is just a bitter loser. The executive HR director at exxon is not even yoruba and he is from an oil producing state so i see no reason why there would be any vendetta against oil producing indigenes. Also, this is not NNPC. This is a private organisation that wants the best. If you are not good enough, they will not choose you. If you like, let oil flow from your bathroom!
Finally, if/when they call for the next stage/interviews, you will all hear about it so stop giving yourselves unnecessary heart attacks

Well, let's wait and see...
