The Terracotta Army, located on the periphery of the Mausoleum
Tomb of the First Qin Emperor, serves as a garrison of the grand tomb. The
Terracotta Army was discovered in the spring of 1974, to the east of Xi’an in
Shaanxi province.A group of farmers struck upon pieces of terracotta figures
while digging a water well, around 1.5 kilometers east of the Qin Emperor’s
tomb mound at Mount Lishan. This discovery drew in Chinese archaeologists. What
they unearthed, was the largest collection of pottery figurines ever found in
China.Warriors, chariots and horses - frozen in time. But no one expected their
excavations to last for the next forty years.Archaeologists uncovered huge pits
they described as "boundless".So far, three have been opened up.It is
estimated that the Terracotta Army is composed of over 8,000 soldiers, 130
chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses.... Most of them still buried
deep. Before 2009, archaeologists conducted two major explorations in pit No.1.
The first lasted from 1978 to 1984. Over 1,000 terracotta
warriors - many of them broken - were unearthed. The sculptures were fixed and
arranged in lines. In 1985, a second excavation started... This time,
archaeologists found warriors and chariots sculptures, most of them painted in
bright colours. But the excavation lasted for only one year.It proved difficult
to preserve the colours once they were exposed to air and sunlight outside the
tomb. So the digging stopped. It wasn’t until 2009 that a third exploration of
pit No. 1 began, bringing to the suface small items like scabbards, shields and
drums.
judaxx is this related to the xin cchinese story?

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
Malaria is transmitted exclusively through the bites of Anopheles mosquitoes. The intensity of transmission depends on factors related to the parasite, the vector, the human host, and the environment.About 20 different Anopheles species are locally important around the world. All of the important vector species bite at night. Anopheles mosquitoes breed in water and each species has its own breeding preference; for example some prefer shallow collections of fresh water, such as puddles, rice fields, and hoof prints. Transmission is more intense in places where the mosquito lifespan is longer (so that the parasite has time to complete its development inside the mosquito) and where it prefers to bite humans rather than other animals. For example, the long lifespan and strong human-biting habit of the African vector species is the main reason why more than 90% of the world's malaria deaths are in Africa.
Transmission also depends on climatic conditions that may affect the number and survival of mosquitoes, such as rainfall patterns, temperature and humidity. In many places, transmission is seasonal, with the peak during and just after the rainy season. Malaria epidemics can occur when climate and other conditions suddenly favour transmission in areas where people have little or no immunity to malaria. They can also occur when people with low immunity move into areas with intense malaria transmission, for instance to find work, or as refugees.
Human immunity is another important factor, especially among adults in areas of moderate or intense transmission conditions. Partial immunity is developed over years of exposure, and while it never provides complete protection, it does reduce the risk that malaria infection will cause severe disease. For this reason, most malaria deaths in Africa occur in young children, whereas in areas with less transmission and low immunity, all age groups are at risk.
what about this on malaria?

Dear all,
What's all these pointless comments about?
I must say that it is increasingly becoming difficult and time exhaustive to find any useful info. whatsoever in this wall.
Let's save precious space for insightful comments and information and refrain our itching fingers from posting derogatory remarks.
Please be guided.

Don't pick on me u foolish sissy, things are flying round. For ur information,ur ability to tap on it is to prove how smart u r.u have google,u have the internet,if u source for info,u go online to fetch it, ain't it?so if u want to write jamb for example are just going to read you books alone or u would go and buy a jamb questions and answers from maybe 1988 -2011?when u have questions and answers it guides u to know what ur examiner wants isn't it.
People perish for lack of knowledge, recruiters are not even giving level playing field thats my point, admin here removed the questions that might have aided you,you are crying to me bcos I didnt give u full dragnet expo,if all i mentioned came out,i would have been ur gee,but since u banked on it and only one came,I look vague to u. One more thing here,I guess most people here in naijahotjobs are juvenile and kids that just passed out of camp.
One more big advice,if u carry this reporting attitude to your office where the system has an organisation, your bosses will plot and sack you. I see a lot of people here that are so straight and not entirely ready for the outside world, its best you start your own business now than to look for work now, bcos you won't last or you will be sidelined and made redundant, they will either get rid of u,by sack or elimination.
U might want to say its a lie,why do dey ask if u are a team-player?ever thot of it?problems arises,my friends in oil companies run into them, reports fly,but someone has to cover another with a lie to save their jobs that's how it goes,so don't come here talking trash, reporting issues, source for information when necessary instead of being a bad-belle idiot.
A word is enuff for the wise.
@ Juddaxx: Pls bro, I'll really appreciate the relevant questions and materials, be it verbal, numerical or abstract. I'm writing Chevron Test dis coming saturday.

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
@MAKEWAY2029 - it takes five years to study EEE and less than 3hrs to write Mobil test. Dude do the math - some guidelines on what they ask (heard some of them are industry related - not even EEE textbook questions) will help especially if you are not working in ur field of study.

No sue me bros, I was just joking. I don't know the format for any skill test but I don't expect it to be more than the basics, e.g. basic electrical engineering, basic chemical engineering, etc., that common sense will even suffice. Na wetin me think o but if you can lay your hands on sample questions it won't hurt your reputation. Good luck.

I heard from someone that the questions are the same but I saw a statement made some days ago as regards Mobil's skill test for electrical engineers. Can anyone with useful info please fill me in.
