Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
Too Bad.This has been happenning for a longtime now. I mean "ALL THE HOT CAKE COMPANIES" are affected. Only GOD helps the less previledge now. I still believes in what HE can do. Can we join them when we cannot beat them? GOD will never allow that, because we can beat them with GOD. HE has HIS own timing. He knows what is best for us. HE sees everything. Some struggle to go to school, pay their fees themselves, made 'qualifying' grades for job applications, Invited for aptitude test and have to struggle again with people who have the questions and answers before hand. GOD I beg see your people o! E no easy for them o! I believe HE hears this.

@maxweber, we need to ruin the efforts of the cheats. We need to make this recruitment fair for all. We must not stand back and watch how things will unfold; we must pitch in to decide the course of our destiny as a people. We cannot trivialize this matter nor sweep it under the carpet. If let this incident go unreported we may be setting the platform for a new dimension in the recruitment process in this country. Fairness must prevail. AMEN.

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
What sort of nonsense is this? ExxonMobil should act and act fast. I think dragnet needs to upgrade their system security and vigilance because this is making honest candidates feel cheated. This is simply UNFAIR!!!

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
Have submitted my query to them... awaiting their reply, but everybody here can also submit, just remove the attachment it will go. I tried with the attachment but get a failure and later tried without the attachment and it went... So please acts if you feel bad about it... Please note that even me have not written my own test. Am just feeling very bad about the whole recruitment process and i think something should be done about it.

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
Most corrupt country in the the world no doubt. Actually, mobile phones are not allowed during the test and some people were asked to leave the hall on Friday at the Lagos centre who were caught using their phones during the exam. But all in all, Dragnet has only 2 invigilators highest overseeing so many candidates most times writing in different halls. So what else can you expect. Nigerians will always steal if given the opportunity.
That aside. Nice job gingerswags, wilfrotech, xandro101 & co. We must always do our best to ensure fair play and equality. Not all Nigerians are corrupt. Let's all do something about this. The righteous always wins at the end of the day....

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
Guys while ur concerns are legitimate, the truth is that you cannot totally eliminate cheating during tests. It has become a part of the fabric of test-takers not only in nigeria but abroad. Even shl isn't entirely fool-proof.
But there is a way it can be managed..just like some companies do. How do u throw all the blame at dragnet when its the candidates that have devised ways to beat the system.
I'v personally caught guys on several occasions snapping the screens with their blackberries. What dragnet could do is to have staffs manning each angle during the test to prevent all these. But about the total elimination of cheating, forget it.
Guys would always try 2 have an upper hand.
P.s: last year during the NNPC test at ICAN centre, lagos, two guys had the exact questions that we solved. How na??? Guys 4get o0, we can only manage it. Plus if you did it urself and you scored well, you'ld still be called. Its just unfortunate dat folks have unfair advantage over others.
It is well!

Upload the evidence to another site like 4shared. Then send the link for him/her to go take a look. That way your mail still gets delivered.

I left this thread on NHJ last night on page 68, only to come back now to meet it on page 79, then something must be happening, and I very late to the party once again...(It took my neigbour waking me up, that I should come and read up things for my self)
Ginger brother and Wilfrotech, Send the mail with the attachments in bits, because, Many Company's (like ExxonMobil) Outlook is configured with a Cap on attachment size, ...I am certain that this is the problem. If the mail size is so large, the server rejects it. Cut it into smaller chunks, till you know it has delivered, that will give u a fair idea of the limit for attachment.
Ginger man, I sent you a few more mail addy's to boost your already large arsenal of EMC Contacts, but please I beg of U, DO NOT PUBLISH THE EMAILS HERE, as it is highly unprofessional. thanks boss!
My take on this is that what is yours is yours, no matter what they do, people had the test questions for shell last year, and still where are they today?...still in the corporate hustle.
"For by strength shall no man prevail, they may be faster than us, but we are way ahead of them", "In time, inner rottenness and inadequacies always creeps to the surface"
Just thinking out loud, had we (many peeps here, myself inclusive) found ourselves on the other side of the divide, would we have also complained and cried foul the way we are doing now? Wouldn't we have just eating and wiped our mouths clean like nothing happened? Is it the system or the people, or both? Lets rise above this base level and Naija will follow also, cos Naija is not the borders drawn on maps but you and I whose blood bleeds green...no matter the land where we find ourselves!
One love peeps...anger mode activated, first they dont allow us use calculators, now this ugly development, God we r in ur hands finally!!!

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
Any mail u send to mobil with attachments, the attachment has to be less than 10mb, before it can be delivered

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
Hahahahaha...boys will always be boys! The guy dey ask 4 d question with style.
The system has unfairly created a culture of cheating. And frankly speaking, i have little blame 4 candidates that try to beat it by any means possible. They are only trying to survive in a highly competitive testing environment. Its unfortunate, but its a reality we just have to unbiasedly face.
Again, it isn't so much as Dragnet's doing as it is the Candidates'.. They are the ones snapping and distributing. Its unfair but largely the cheating candidates' fault.
However, Dragnet should beef up its monitoring and surveillance methods. Enuf said!
-
LWKMD....u go fear strategy nahhh. Bro, try anoda lie jooor.
-
Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
Or better still, dragnet should try to change their questions data base at intervals say 2mnths max.
-
Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
@catchdwind, good idea bro!

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
Registering four unqualified friends to enable one person to pass is unimaginable. This is because accreditation is done with certificates copies of degree (2.1) bearing ur name haba-- if u re not qualified. Will not be screened to enter the hall--Oga pls tell us another story cos this one is non- pragmatic
-
Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
dragnet deserve this mess they r into at the moment.on friday when i was in the hall writing the dragnet guys were panicking....saying that someone sent an email or a text from his phone to mobil HR inside the hall.....somehow i always knew dat guys had always cheated with this dragnet stuff.ive written tests with dragnet abt 8 differnt types nd ive only passed it once...imbut agine dat...i never got to see my scores..but ull hear guys saying they saw theirs(how for Gods sake)i dont know.....me i dont blame guys with the materials i blame dragnet nd i wish they can just be scrapped once and for all.after all said and done CHEVRON still makes do with them for the PETROLEUM ENG apptitude test.it is well sha.
