A highly reputable company is dire need of a Customer Relation Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
- Relates with customers; both external and internal.
- Act as the Front Desk Officer
- Deals with customer related issues & also proffer solutions.
- Develops and maintain relationships with customers.
- Analyse customer feedbacks and initiate changes.
- Create and maintain an up - to- date customer contact database.
- Follow- up on customers before, during and after sales.
- Liaise with other departments with respect to customer sales, services and after sales services.
- Provide pro-forma invoices.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Send SMS to customers and potential customers on a regular basis ( monthly, special occasions, etc)
- Other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Good knowledge of customer service and standards.
- Good communication skills (oral, written and presentation).
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Smart appearance (dressing).
- Ability to handle pressure.
- Can effectively handle complaints, especially from unpleasant customers.
- Has eye for details.
- High level of initiative.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower in Social Sciences.
- At least, one year cognate experience in a similar position.
