ACCOUNT MANAGER Job Description


GENERAL SUMMARY:
Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration based on targets given within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the PlayPage Service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned market segment to generate new business
  • Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations (one-on-one and group) to existing and prospective customers
  • Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Assists in resolving customer problems and complaints.
  • Coordinates sales effort with the Marketing department
  • Participates in conventions, association meetings and other school functions



REPORTING:
Reports directly to the Marketing Manager


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess a minimum of 2 years work experience at high level of achievement
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in business, marketing and sales or a related field of study
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).

  • Must be a self-starter
  • Analytical skill set and strong presentation skills
  • Ability to self-motivate and multi-task, work independently or within a team
  • Well developed interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Applications
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
