Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing tools (dashboards, charts etc) to track important HR metrics such as talent/performance, attrition, recruitment, diversity etc in line with HR strategy.
  • Supports the implementation of HR strategy to the business by ensuring that the HR delivery is fully aligned to the business goals in their area of business.
  • Supports Managers and teams in Business delivery through enhancing their capability to deliver business objectives, manage their people, implement change and build relations with key stakeholders(internal and external).
  • Brings HR insight (including employee and industrial relations) to bear on all people related issues (people capabilities, organisation, leadership and culture.)
  • Utilises the talent development process and tools delivered by the Expertise Teams in order to provide and develop the diverse talent pipeline for the short term needs of the company.
  • Supports the collection of Human Resources/Organisation Effectiveness metrics and measurement for the business across HR lifecycle.

The HR Business Partner Assistant will report to the HR Business Partner Manager.
Responsibilities


  • Assists with the profiling and evaluation of jobs in the GTM functions.
  • Supports the business with Employee & Industrial Relations (ER/ IR by having knowledge of legislative requirements, an understanding of impact on the organisation and develops a relationship with works council/ unions, government/regulatory bodies, community, etc.
  • Facilitates HR service delivery to the business.
  • Collaborates with the business for the creation a high performance culture by supporting the implementation of team and organisation design solutions.
  • Escalates HR service provision issues through HR BP Managers Encourages groups and individuals to work collaboratively by focusing on the common purpose of the team.
  • Seeks opportunities to improve/enhance the talent/performance management processes for GTM functions
  • Interfaces with HR service provider for delivery of core HR services to the business monitors Quality and timeliness of service provision.
  • Helps to monitor and to address legal compliance issues to ensure that the organisation complies with local and national laws.
  • Helps the HR BP Manager to implement change initiatives to deliver enhanced organisational effectiveness within the business.
  • Supports the activation of the Talent strategy for the business by developing insight and analysis of people related business issues and opportunities (by utilising global solutions, e.g. Talent Management tools/ processes and diversity metrics, etc).
  • Assists with the generation of workforce measures and metrics, reporting, variance & trend analysis.
  • Supports the activation of the local Human Resources Strategy (including the talent component)
  • Maintains a database of job profiles and organisation structures for GTM functions
  • Partners with the Expertise teams to execute talent and performance management processes.

Qualifications et experience


  • Bachelors’ degree in social or behavioural sciences.
  • Master degree is an added advantage.
  • Must have a minimum of 3years of related experience.
  • Must possess good presentation skills.
  • Must possess analytical skills.
  • Must possess leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral (in English).
  • Must be computer literate (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.)
  • Must be excellently spoken and written
