JOB DESCRIPTION

"• To manage Service Contractors and ensure full compliance with SNEPCO and Contractor’s HSE policies, standards and procedures.
• To execute HSE Critical tasks as described in the HSE Case.
• To visibly promote HSE awareness amongst SNEPCO and Contractor staff
• To attend and report on the monthly contract HSE meetings.
• To ensure the SNEPCO and Service Companies’ HSE plans are executed.
• To participate in reports and investigation of all Service Contractor HSE incidents and near-misses as per SNEPCO Incident Reporting Procedures, follow-up any deficiencies found as a result of such investigations.
• Ensure that service contractor equipment is inspected and maintained in line with the quality plan.
• Verify that service contractor equipment is prepared and tested prior to dispatch to the rig-site.
• Identify and report on non-compliant equipment.
• Participate in equipment failure investigation and root cause analysis.
• Ensure timely delivery of material, equipment and services at the shore base.
• Ensure that best practices resulting from Root Cause Failure analysis are implemented by suppliers
• Ensure that all lifting, hoisting and handling equipment are certified as per international standards.
• Capable of undertaking reviews and audits of contractor processes (quality, maintenance etc.).

JOB REQUIREMENT

"

• Technical background.
• Seasoned professional with at least 10 years (preferably 15 years) working experience in a drilling and/or Completion related function.
• Good understanding of the offshore drilling business risks and mitigation.
• Very Conversant with shell/industry standards for rigging, hoisting and lifting.
• Very Conversant with shell/industry standards for drilling and completions equipment.
• Good interpersonal skills.
