Job description: • Keep all Project business processes moving forward • Act as engineering representative on company’s behalf • All aspects of contract administration as required to achieve 1 above • Prepare scopes of work for contracts according to the contract plan • Implement project execution plans and contract strategies required for engineering, procurement and construction activities. • Work to project schedules, liaise with all Project stakeholders, • Update cost estimates, budgets and preparation of bid documents • Carry out design reviews and HAZOP’s as required. • Monitor and report progress during all project phases, carrying out site visits as required. • Liase closely with relevant departments to deliver the project • Prepare project close out and “lessons learnt” reports. • Act for the Manager Projects during his absences from the office • Follow the Project Management Institute guidelines on Project Management • Possess very good negotiating skills Qualifications, Key skills and Experience Required : • A first degree / H.N.D in Electrical, Mechanical or Materials Engineering. (2.2 or Lower Credit). A higher degree will be an added advantage. • Possess ten years relevant experience in Project Management, four of which should be within marine in oil and gas sector • Possess relevant professional certification, target driven and highly numerical • Must not be more than 40 years of age and highly mobile • Possess the ability to work with very minimal supervision and for long hours • Possess very positive attitude to pressure • Must have a good working knowledge of primavera software or PMP and Microsoft word and excel.
