Qualifications (Education, Years of Experience, Specialized Training, etc):
B.Sc. degree in engineering or related technical degree.
Previous experience in cementing operations.
Offshore operations experience preferred.
Some Completion Fluids and Coil Tubing experience a plus.
Working knowledge of CemFacts and other engineering software as well as good command of MS software.
Client orientated with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Working knowledge of Down-hole Service Tools a plus.

This position requires an experienced, motivated, proactive and creative engineer to work in a demanding operational environment.

Job Description:
Consult daily with customers and operations personnel to determine appropriate course of action.
Prepare job recommendations based on the available job criteria and knowledge of disciplines and past performance.
Design cement jobs and provide technical supervision for all testing of same in remotely located laboratory.
Design and evaluate cement jobs, utilizing CemFacts, Welltemp (Isovision a plus).
Perform and document field studies to identify best practices.
Develop presentations for customer and technical-society groups.
Maintain close liaison with field service personnel and lab personnel by telephone and frequent site visits.
Develop relationships with the customer to implement problem-solving teams.
Assist in managing/ training local technical staff.
Frequent contributor to BJ Engineering News.
Develop case histories to identify best treatment or products.
Prepare post job reports and follow up with the customer.
Participate in technical society (e.g., SPE) functions, study groups, etc.
Develop new markets for BJ by promoting BJ’s technology, people, and equipment.
Assist in preparation of cementing tenders.
