Structural engineer specialist designs, plan and oversee the construction of new base station, building or alteration and
extension to existing sites or other structures that is safe and capable of withstanding the element to which they will be
exposed. Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic
data to plan projects. Plan and design transportation or hydraulic systems and structures, following construction and
government standards, using design software and drawing tools. Compute load and grade requirements, water flow
rates, and material stress factors to determine design specifications. Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure
conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards. Direct construction, operations, and
maintenance activities at project site. Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference
points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.

• Analyze TSS Document and Soil Test report.
• Analyze Tower Manufacturer’s Foundation design.
• Evaluation and analyzes of submitted site design drawings
• Approve designed drawings as submitted by the contractors
• Provide technical advice to contractors on the submitted drawings.
• Keen commercial awareness and understand the business implications of the decisions you make.
• Highly analytical, good at maths, IT and mechanics, and be able to get your head around methods in construction, as well as health, safety and legal considerations.
• Communication skills are particularly important


Requirements:
· A first degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study BEng, BSc, BTec, Required
· 7 years post National Service work experience (NYSC is mandatory)
· Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a corporate environment
· Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Outstanding Process and Systems Documentation, Attention to Detail, Highly
Organised, Conflict Resolution, Presentation Skills, Excellent Communication skills, Highly Organised, Team
Oriented and Leadership, High Tolerance for Stress, Problem Management (analysis and resolution), Customer
