To achieve this, the company is looking to fill the under-listed position within its organisational structure:

Support Engineer –SEN 001
Purpose of the Job
• Provide technical support to Computers and related systems
• Technical fault analysis and troubleshooting.
• Monitoring and verification of service processes – i.e. Backups, patch distribution
• Providing technical support to a wide range of users – internal and external;
• Assemble workstation and server hardware
• Install and configure workstation software
• Monitoring network security and alerts;
• Coordinate and deploy corporate IT projects as required.
• Managing network IP addresses;
• Supporting desktop applications;
• Assist in testing, implementation and troubleshooting of server systems
• Support end-users on Ms Office, Win 2K/XP, Outlook, Lotus Notes and VPN remote access.
• Resolve hardware / software issues on desktop / laptop PC, network printer.
• Administer and maintain server and LAN network equipment to ensure high availability and high performance of the systems.
• Track and deploy Windows patch and update to maintain baseline of IT security standard and policies.
• Handle IT training, provide necessary guidance to end user and manage user request.
• Maintain and update technical support document, IT report and policy.

Qualification:
• Good degree in Computer Engineering or similar field.
• MUST be Cisco Certified.
• At least 2 years technical experience.

Required Knowledge and other Experience:
• Good Experience in administration and implementation of Windows 2003 Servers / Active Directory and MS Exchange 2003 server.
• Good knowledge in installation, maintenance, administration of LAN / WAN infrastructures, such like TCP/IP networking, MPLS/DSL connectivity and Cisco equipment.
• Experience with Wireless equipment is an added advantage.
