SPECIALIST, QUALITY ASSURANCE

Core Job Functions / Responsibility:

Monitor the quality and reliability of products and services and ensure the finished services/products are of a specified quality.
Primary activities

· Monitor, investigate and create quality management systems with the entire IT department
· Manage the processes required for the planning and delivery of quality IT services and looks at the longer term processes associate with improving the quality of IT services delivered
· Maintain awareness of IT audit and impacts on the business;
· Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff;
· Set up and maintain controls and documentation;
· Provide validation of information regarding governance issues, ensuring it is maintained and available to all stakeholders;
· Liaise with managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the established QA systems are functioning properly
· Advise on quality changes and their implementation and provides training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality for the Information Technology Services, Compliance Management, Business Process Engineering and Review
· Ensure KPI Alignments for the IT Directorate is tracked and monitored.
· Liaise with internal and external auditors and ensure the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications;
· Set QA compliance objectives and ensure targets are achieved;
· Identify relevant quality-related training needs;
· Assess information technology control elements to mitigate IT risks.
· Provide or assist in providing training, coaching and guidance to divisional audit staff in conducting audits and other audit-related issues.
· Execute all duties in accordance with ITIL best practice and other renowned Quality standards related to your duty.
Job Requirements and Skills
Previous Experience: First degree from a recognised University REQUIRED.
Post Graduate Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree OR MBA is of ADVANTAGE.
Experience: 5- 7 years’ work experience with at least 5 years at supervisory position ESSENTIAL.
Certifications and Training Requirements: IT Certifications is of ADVANTAGE.
