Responsibilities:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for operational activities in Port Harcourt.

The positions primary responsibility is ensuring operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness by providing planning leadership and readiness assessments through coaching of new staff, recruitment exercises and new employee on-boarding.

Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.

Reports to the executive and serve as a member of the Management and ensure organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organization's day to day operations.

Work in resolving clients' dissatisfaction, and employee problems. Excellent leadership skills will be an asset as the Operations Managers will have to make effective decisions that will not only help the company run smoothly but that also serve to prevent difficult situations in the future.

Job Skills & Attributes:

- Excellent computer skills and proficient in standard Microsoft office applications. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices

- Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives. Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style. A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.

- Must be an excellent people manager, open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.

- Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization. Ability to look at situations from several points of view, individual must be persuasive with details and facts. Delegate responsibilities effectively and be extremely comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Arts, Business, Accounting, Science or Engineering or equivalent experience. OND/HND Grads can apply.
- At least 2 years of experience. This can be combined experience through Industrial Training of Youth Service assignment.
- Sound problem solving skills, issues resolution, judgment, negotiating, and decision making skills
- Proven ability to provide training, direction, and mentoring for team members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style

Salary & Compensations:
