Our Client a multinational is in need of qualified candidates for the following position.

Position :On Call Help Desk Operators

Employment Type: Contract (8 Months)

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience of Information Technology.
  • Ability to demonstrate the company values.
  • Must have a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or any related field.
  • Strong understanding of MS Office applications and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Must have excellent phone manners.
  • Must be customer orientated.
  • Highly effective inter-personal skills, with ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people at different levels and from different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Flexibility and ability to respond quickly and adequately to new sets of priorities.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Familiar with working within an ITIL environment – (added advantage).



Responsibilities
  • Ensure all reported Incidents are properly logged/categorized into the Issues Tracking Tool (Magic).
  • Ensure all allocated incidents are resolved within the agreed SLA.
  • Check and process requests received from Self Service/Phone & Email.
  • Ensure that unresolved incidents and problems are timely escalated to 2nd Level Support.
  • Ensure that targeted Customer Satisfaction Rating is achieved.
  • Provide remote access support.
  • Coach the user community on IT tools to improve their productivity.
  • Develop self in any of the core service areas for career development and efficiency.
  • Successfully execute appropriate task assigned.
