Module 1
Lesson 1: Terminologies and Troubleshooting Sequence
Understanding the terminologies, tools and techniques, standard “Blue-Print” for problem analysis, manufacturer data sheet, manufacturer faults detection and troubleshooting guide, review of vendors and organizations own troubleshooting documentation, organization’s safety rules and troubleshooting procedures. The troubleshooting approach: Identifying the problem, Defining Problem Area, Identifying Possible Causes, Repairing or replacing the component, testing the system. Troubleshooting sequence: Preliminary checks, analyzing the complaint, Sequence of Operation, tracing circuit problems, troubleshooting before Installation, troubleshooting after installation, equipment changes,repairs and modifications.
