ENGINEERING DESIGN TRAINING FOR COMPANIES TRAINEE ENGINEER ]

(AUTOCAD 2D/3D, PDMS, P&ID
Ken Technologies is an Engineering design company focusing on implementation, Training, consulting and Outsourcing. In the course of our operation we realized that most Engineering firms in and outside the country needs Engineering graduates that are well equipped in the use of the following engineering design Software ( AUTOCAD 2D/3D, PDMS & P&ID (Process and Piping Design). We offer training to trainee Engineers in Design, oil and gas, manufacturing and Process Company.

COURSE MODULE (AUTOCAD 2D/3D) = DESIGN AND MODELING
· Introduction to AutoCAD Template
· AutoCAD 2D working tools
· Drafting of Objects using the AutoCAD tools (Line, Construction line, Circles, Multiline test, etc).
· Dimensioning of drawings, and dimensional Style setting
· Modifying drawings, using the Modify tools (Fillets, Chamfer, Extend, Join, Break, etc)
· Drawing Isometric Object (2D Isometric
· Dimensioning and editing isometric drawing
· Introduction to 3 Dimensioning drawing ( Modeling of Solid object)
· Application of 3 Dimensional Tools bar in modeling (Extrude, Union, Subtract, Extrude face, Sweep, Revolve, Tab surf, Revsurf, Slice, etc ).
·
COURSE MODULE (P&ID, PFD, PDMS) = PROCESS AND PIPING DESIGN
The objective of this course is to provide the delegates the basic knowledge
And skills in this discipline to facilitate faster learning curves while on the job.
This course will cover the fundamental principles and concepts used in
Process plant layout and piping design. Upon completion of this course the
Delegates will have a clear understanding of the design and engineering
Principles used in plant layout and piping design.

· WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
Plant layout fundamentals and work flow procedures
• Terminology and symbols used in plant layout
• Plot plans, elevations and 3-D models
• Fundamental principles of chemical process technology
• Process flow diagrams (PFDs)
• Equipment used in process plants
• Instrument symbols and abbreviations
• Piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
• Piping design and engineering principles
• Terminology, symbols and abbreviations used in piping design
• Piping materials
• Piping specifications and piping codes
· • Components of piping systems - fittings, flanges and valves
EQUIPMENT MODELING (USING PDMS)
· Axis System (Piping Isometric):
· Identification of Equipment and Primitives ( Equipment and Primitives orientation)
· Creating of Equipments (Tanks, Reboiler, Heat exchanger, Column, Pumps)
· Modifying Equipment( Orientate, offset, move)
· Setting Attributes ( Height, Diameter, Position, orientation)
PIPEWORK MODELLING (USING PDMS)
Piping in PDMS: Basic Concepts
* Piping Specification: Setting the appropriate specification
* Pipe work tool bar
* Pipe creation Form
* Pipe Branch Head and Tail connected
* Creating Branch components (Pipe fittings)
*Pipe Branch Head/Tail position Explicit
* Pipe components creation form
2. Attaching fittings (Elbows, Valves, Flanges, Reducer, Tee, Cap etc) to Equipment

3. STRUCTURAL MODELLING: Designing Beams and Columns:
* Choosing specification for Beams and Columns (British Standard)
