Description

1. Claims Administration
- Registration of claims notified by the insured
- Advice insured of and obtain documents required to support the claim made.
- Pursuing settlement offer from the insurers/adjusters
- Preparing claims experiences for the insured
- Preparing claims assessment for insurers.
- Preparing monthly claims returns for the insured.
- Maintenance of Accurate records on the claim
- Ensuring that adjusters/surveyors carry out their assignment in good time


2 Underwriting
- Inviting renewals
- Preparing quotation/placement slips for new business and existing business
- Making sure that insurers endorsements are prepared according to instructions.
- Negotiating rates and terms for simple policies.
- Preparation of Minutes and action points and following up on issues arising there from.
- Preparing renewal registers
- Maintenance of Accurate records of the insured
- Meeting deadlines/ Maintaining a diary system


3. Credit Control
- Raising debit notes for the insured
- Matching insurers debit notes with that of Company
- Pursuing renewal/outstanding premiums from the insured.
- Pursuing insurers debit notes
- Liaise with account department on issues of remittance and account balances.

4. Marketing of New Accounts
- Preparation of insurance proposals for prospective clients


Required: University Degree in the following:
Social Sciences, Art, Sciences, Humanities
Minimum 2nd class lower
1 year experience or none
