Job Title: Customer Support Representative
Location: Palms Shopping Mall, Lekki

Reports To: Head, Sales and Business Development

JOB SUMMARY

Will act as interface between clients from the Palms outlet and the relevant department at the Head Office.
Responsible for promoting and maintaining positive customer relations and excellent customer service. He/she must plan towards achieving agreed business targets, including costs and sales projections. Personal effectiveness is critical, the person must be capable of working with minimal supervision.
Position is responsible for managing and coordinating the sales efforts for existing and prospective customers. He/she must proactively identify prospects, develop new business relationships, maintain existing customer relationships, monitor sales, and promote the Company’s products. Also he/she must be able to respond to customer enquiries by researching status of client’s enquiries, order for repair, return or servicing etc.
Additional responsibilities include performing market analysis using information from various sources with regards to market trends, prospective customers, sales coverage and potential growth sectors.
Will organize information to assist in analyzing future products and make recommendations for the development of new products/services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as first point of contact for Company clients and also Palms Shopping Mall Management.
• Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
• Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
• Plan/carry out/support marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g. product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing and Public Relations.
• Customer care: supports customers’ needs, responds to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
• Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
• Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
• Invest time in personal development to obtain relevant knowledge and continually update techniques and skills.
• Handle administrative duties of the outlet and report to Admin department, head office weekly.
• Adhere to Company’s health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.

Personnel Specifications
• Recently graduated with a degree in Marketing/Economics/Business/Engineering/Social Sciences
• Must be computer literate with a minimum of 2 years research experience
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Effective time management
• Understanding of foreign language will be added advantage.
• Candidate must be Proactive and capable of working on own initiative
• Must have a flair for marketing and technology
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Must have excellent administrative and communication skills
• Good Interpersonal skills
• Must live within the Lagos Island and its environs
