The E-Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving our online and phone ordering across all our businesses in Port Harcourt with an aim to meeting and exceeding revenue and profit objectives of the company’s food delivery services unit while supporting the general marketing efforts of the company in general. The successful candidate will also be managing and increasing interaction with our customers on all social media and networks, monitoring customer experiences while managing service defect recovery.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Set-up and manage a comprehensive and efficient retail office and home delivery system for the distribution of the company’s products covering the entire PHC city
  • Set-up and manage interaction with customers and fans on all available social networks and media with an aim to driving traffic and revenues to our stores as well as increase revenues to the company
  • Manage content and interaction on all company owned websites and social media such as facebook, twitter and blackberry and windows messenger accounts.
  • Drive income, brand awareness, inbound traffic and customer retention through the use of relevant digital channels.
  • Develop robust reporting framework to monitor performance
  • Track, analyze and report on customer responses and feedback and manage recovery process with an aim to increasing customer retention and brand loyalty
  • Manage basic Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software used to maintain customer data and purchasing habits to aid operational and marketing decisions
  • Respond to customer’s special dates and handle customer complaints & feedback.
  • Explore all other e-marketing opportunities aimed at driving revenues for the company.
  • Any other duties assigned by supervisor

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in any field preferably in Marketing, Sociology or any other social sciences - Candidate must be able to demonstrate a good level of education to justify grade (Minimum of Second class lower)
  • MBA or other post-graduate business qualification will be an added advantage

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Four (4) years Post-NYSC work experience at the minimum in a similar position. Public relations, Marketing and sales experience, a plus
  • Proven experience working in an online environment, particularly in e-commerce, managing/updating websites and social media is preferred.
  • Passion for the food service and/or hospitality industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent writing skills – The confidence to communicate effectively and persuasively in writing.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ardent facebook and twitter user
  • Ability to use a Customer Relationship Management ( CRM) software
