A leading IT Company in partnership with HP is seeking to employ intelligent,hardworking and reliable individuals into the legal/personnel department.

Responsibilities:
Participate in the articulation of Group/Corporate Office strategic goals/objectives and take ownership for communicating same to subordinates.

Ensuring common understanding of roles, responsibilities and accountability.

Manage Board and Shareholder relationships and perform all personnel/hr duties of the organizations.

Provide advisory services on issues that relate to the legal and regulatory framework and liaise with relevant regulatory bodies as required.

Manage relationships with external solicitors and ensure compliance with agreed service levels.

Draft, negotiate, administer, interpret and advise on agreements between company and its customers/suppliers,write letters, forms, and other legal documents related to the Group as required.

Provide all guidance, leadership support and strategic directives to subordinates.

Provide overall guidance, leadership support and strategic direction in the execution of the department’s functions and activities.
Keep abreast of best practices, changes in regulation, amendment of enabling laws and proactively advise the business accordingly.

Qualification/Experience:
Must have an LLB and BL.
An LLM in Commercial law will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years post call experience.
Prior involvement in complex transactions is an added advantage.
In-depth knowledge of international and local business and commercial law is required.
Excellent leadership/supervisory and people management skills is required.
Strong problem-solving and creative skills and ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
Very strong negotiation and influencing skills and a rich network of relationship.
Individual must have a business mindset in tackling issues.
Must be able to work effectively under pressure, must be calm, resilient and tenacious
