The HR Administrator shall be responsible for support on a day-to-day basis and contributing to the long-term objectives of the Human Resources function in the Lagos region of the organization. Key Tasks and Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the recruitment and selection process in the Lagos Region by coordinating the collecting and sorting of job applications/resumes, the short listing of candidates for interviews and maintenance of a CV database for tracking applicants.
  • Responsible for Employee Orientation and On-boarding process in the Lagos Region.
  • Provide support on employee relations, employee services and counseling.
  • Provide general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports, arranging meetings, composing regular correspondence, processing confidential reports and documents, filing electronic and hard copy, and tracking deadlines as needed.
  • Support the HSE Manager with the coordination of “health and safety at work” programs at the Lagos units and ensure adherence to the company’s HSE policies at all times.
  • Identify staff training needs, recommend appropriate training programs to meet these needs and coordinate such training programs to ensure smooth running
  • Support Head, HR and Strategy in the management of process improvement engagements that involve the Lagos units, and which will include, where and when necessary, process redesign, operational efficiencies, growth strategy, strategic planning, data collection, qualitative analysis, and the identifying cost savings initiatives.
  • Support organizational and process transformation and business development within the organization.


Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any social sciences. CIPMN qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Human resources policies and practices
  • Minimum of Two (2) years of HR Experience in a reputable organization is required. Experience in a Food Retail Business is desirable.
