Job Title: Facility Manager
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities:
Technical and commercial oversight and guidance to project teams. Supports the Asset and Business Development teams as necessary.
Budgetary Responsibility.
Manage all aspects of the Facilities group : Project Management, Engineering and Project Controls.
Ensure capital projects follow the PREP process. Obtain approvals to pass through the relevant decision gate as required.
Ensure projects meet or exceed all performance targets i.e. HSSE, quality, cost and schedule.
Provide engineering and project support to operating assets.
Provide technical guidance to projects and operating assets as required.
Participate in technical/commercial meetings with JV partners as required.
Support Company business development efforts – assessing technical feasibility, potential costs and project schedules as required.
Work with HR to recruit additional staff if necessary.
Prepare and manage the departmental budget.
Act as the Contract representative with contractors, partners and third party contractors.
Negotiate terms and conditions where necessary, in conjunction with Septa Contracts Department.
Ensure Project Managers adhere to Company procedures and reporting requirements.
Capable of resolving all commercial, contractual and technical issues within the project and with the Contractors, safeguarding Septa’s interest - having regard to corporate and project policies, including Code of Business Conduct and the strategic goals of the Company.
Monitor and manage the performance of suppliers and subcontractors to determine compliance with contractual obligations. Resolve issues arising from disputes or sub-standard performance.
Participate in a formal review of projects with relevant parties on completion and identify opportunities for learning and development.
Manage effective close-out of projects, providing feedback and recording data and identifying lessons learned for historical purposes.
Work with DPR as necessary to ensure that projects obtain the necessary approvals.
Continue to develop processes and procedures as Company grows.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of Degree in Engineering.
3-5 years experience
Significant related project management experience and a sound knowledge in executing projects.
