Topic: SUBMIT CAREER HIGHLIGHTS...WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Ur career highlights refers to the peaks and/or the pivotal points of ur career. It is a modified CV that lists ur accomplishments in particular jobs. It is usually used if u have had extensive work experience so u can can just pick on what achievements u were able to make in the particular jobs u have had.

If your experience is limited, list all the achievements u have made in any job u've held. Make it sound good. That's u are being asked for a career highlight is a positive step.

They want you to give a summary of your career development. You should mention significant, interesting events in your career. Don't just give stories. Give instances of things you did or achieved or trainings you underwent (for instance) that would be of interest to the company. It may not necessarily be a work experience, it may be an internship, a project, a group work, a workshop etc relevant to your career that would be of interest to the coy. Just sell yourself.

Hi, Okebulus, Do u have IT experience cos if u do, u can play it so that something in it counts as a career highlight.
For the rare exception where a person has no work experience at all...i think it's best to go for a skill specific approach...let them know ur numerous skills and even tho' u might not yet have work experience as a fresher, all u need is a chance to manifest!
