A cover letter is supposed to be a short document introducing yourself and explaining the job position being sought as a backing for ur CV. It's generally expected to be a short document in font size 11-12. U can see a SAMPLE below....wishing all the best...

really cover letters show your strengths and at the same time serves as a sort of introduction to your personality. So take care it must short but meaningful and at the same time show your confidence in expressing yourself. Liked the format i saw.
